I used to go there a lot when it opened because the salads were very good. But I could not believe the repeated price increases and finally quit going when I was paying nearly $15 for a large salad and a tea. At the same time, they began to really pull back on portions and servings, and you could not help but feel ripped off. While the quality is great, the value is no longer there as this is now one of the most expensive salads in town - even compared to salads at upscale restaurants like Houstons & Cheesecake Factory, etc. where you have a far superior ambiance Pros: Quality ingredients Cons: High prices and skimpy portions more

I used to love this place. It was a great resource for great fresh healthy food until they started nickel and ""dimeing "" me. \r i understand you have to make a profit but the portions for the salad additions are small and the cost is ridiculous. It is a sad day when you can only get an 1/8 of a cup of egg for your salad. You can get a cheaper salad in new york city than northpark!\r Pros: tastes good Cons: expensive, could go to a sit down restaurant for same price more

Good food, bad experience 8/3/2008

What is the point of going to a restaurant with friends if the music is so loud you cannot carry on a conversation? We asked them to turn the volume down, but they ignored us and said they liked it that way. Actually, they had trouble hearing our request or our food order. We finally left early in order to get outside where it was quieter. None of our group of ten will go back again, nor would we recommend the restaurant to others because of their disregard for the patrons. Pros: Good variety, tasty food. Cons: Too noisy. Music was very loud. more

Quality, quality everywhere 2/7/2008

I love this place. High quality is demonstrated everywhere, from the fresh organic ingredients to the eco-friendly practices. Very friendly place too. It's great that I can either name your own ingredients, or when I'm feeling lazy, I can order a salad on the menu (Mexican and S. California are my favorites). I consider myself a very connected Dallasite, and everyone I know is buzzing about this place. Pros: Fresh, fresh, fresh! Cons: Sometimes a long line more

I'm not much of a salad person, nor would I consider myself ""environmentally friendly"". But my friend dragged me to Snappy Salads one day, and now I am hooked! The ingredients are so fresh. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering that everything is organic and environmentally friendly. One of the other reviewers said that they couldn't substitute anything without paying more, I did not have this problem. They were more than happy to substitute anything. \r \r It's a different concept. It's not a buffet like Souper Salad. You go up to the counter and pick what you want from numerous ingredients, kind of like how you do at Subway. Or, you can order a salad by name, and they'll make it for you. They also have wraps, soups and baked potatoes. The seating is communtiy seating. Basically three or four large tables, and also some barstool seating.\r \r If you're looking for a quick, healthy meal, this place is highly recommended! Pros: Organic Cons: Community Seating more

Snappy Salads--where have you been all my life? This is what I've always wanted: a place where I can go in, choose fresh ingredients as I go, have a homemade soup if I want it in an eco-friendly environment. Get this--the clear cups that look like plastic are actually made out of corn!! This place is perfect for people who pay attention to their diet but don't want to eat another garden salad from McDonalds. It's not fancy, but it's just what I need.
