Snappy Lube

i went to snappy lube this morning to have my oil changed and inspected. when i got in my car and started down the road my drivers window would'nt roll alway up. i got to looking at my door it had a little dent in it where someone had open the door and hit it on something.and knocked the window off the track. i call them and complained but didnt do any good. i know who ever did it, knows what happened. they wasnt anything wrong with my window when the man took it in the stall. i thing the people that works at these places needs to be more educated and experience.about what they are doing more

We have contacted the company several times about this issue with no response.There is a young 27 year old male named David J. that is a convicted sex offender working with the public at this store.He is asking for your Name, Address and phone numbers!\r Dont use this place the store is nasty, the restroom for the customers looks like a mechanics shop-Poo in and around the commode and grease on the door and in the sink. more

My husband worked for this company from the day they opened in our town. He never once had a complaint or a dissatisfied customer. People came to get their oil changed just because of him and they knew he would do a good job. He could tell you exactly what a car needed before it was even pulled in and tell you what the product number was and where to find it. He eventually got promoted. Then, the company hires a new manager which was a position that he was due. As if that wasn't bad enough he had to train the new man because he had no idea what he was doing and they made this guy the manager. Hello? My husband never had a problem with any other co-worker the entire time he worked there. Until this man. He was arrogant and rude. All of a sudden he comes up to my husband one day and fires him because he says he can't get along with him. And the company stood behind this man and not my husband who was loyal to this company. Now, that manager has been ""let go"" and the company is having to pay for and clean up the mess he left behind. This company hires just anybody off the street and they don't have to know the first thing about cars. I would NOT recommend ANYONE have your oil changed at this company or go to work for this company!!!!!!!! Cons: non-experienced workers more

I've visited many oil change outfits over the years. I have experienced places that just sell me an oil change and leave me wondering if they even changed the oil. Usually it's those places that give me concerns, because everyone knows that all cars and trucks need services besides an oil change on a regular basis, unless it's brand new. After about 25,000 miles, according to my owners manual there are other services that need to be done to keep the car doing what it is supposed to do. \r \r Snappy Lube always tells me exactly what my car needs, and never anything else. I compared their prices to the car dealership and Snappy's prices are almost 50% LOWER than the dealership. They don't pressure sell anything; they ask me to make my own buying decisions after they have clearly explained why I need the service. Other quick change (and SLOW CHANGE) places don't do that and sometimes make me feel like they're just trying to sell me. I know about cars and know when I'm being told the truth. Snappy Lube tells the truth about what my car needs.\r \r The places that advertise a low oil change price do 3 things I don't like. First, they usually take several hours to change the oil, instead of a few minutes. 2nd, they advertise a low-ball oil change with oil I wouldn't put in my car, and the right type always costs much more, plus they have ""disposal fees"" and other junk charges that raise the advertised price. 3rd, they want to sell me something I know I don't need, like new tires, shock absorbers, or brake jobs. When I don't buy anything, the service I get often makes me feel like they didn't change the oil.\r \r Snappy Lube is the best car service place I've ever used. It's not even close. What I want is fast, high quality and a fair price. That's what Snappy Lube does best. If you are looking for cheap, slow and don't care about quality, you may complain about Snappy Lube. spend your money someplace else!!! they will ALWAYS tell you that you need more things done to your vehicle. i have been there at least 8 times between my wifes vehicle and my vehicle. this last time i got an oil change, and 6 hours later , 1/2 quart of it was on my driveway. do yourself a favor and take your auto to a place where the poeple will be honest and professional with you. i will figure out my issue with my leaking oil tomorrow, and definitly will not go back for any work... Very fast, would recommend to anyone needing there car serviced quickly and correctly. I had my fuel injection serviced by them and they told me it improves my gas mileage, and it really does!! It has already paid for itself. more

As far as customer service, I've had pretty good experiences with this business. However, I received an oil change in July 2007 that cost $39. Prices are not displayed anywhere and they would not accept a competitors oil change coupon because it was not another oil and lube business. I don't plan on returning because of the escalating prices as well as the bogus attempts to sell me additional services that I don't need. I was shocked to find out my final bill for an oil change was $115! On May 3rd, 2007 I dropped my car off for an oil change and tire balance and rotation. I was told by the mechanic, Stacey, that his calibrating machine was out of service which meant the tire balance couldn't be done. It was at this time time that my husband and I asked him to continue on with the OIL CHANGE as was requested. When my husband and I came back to retrieve my vehicle, Brian was the lone staffmember at the register. It was at this time that Brian informed me of the $115 fee. When asked why the charge was so high, it was then that Brian informed me that Stacey told him that I asked for an oil change and a radiator flush. I was totally dumbfounded when informed of this. I NEVER agreed to this service and was perplexed as to how Stacey could have come up with such a ludicrous comment. On Friday, May 4th my husband and I took the matter up with Chris, the service manager. Chris was apologetic however he made it clear that he's worked with Stacey for over a year and has never had any problems with his work. I was made to feel like a liar when I assured Chris that Stacey's allegations of me agreeing to have the radiator flushed was a farce and very unprofessional. I was told I could have half of my money back but needless to say, that would not suffice. This would have meant that I still would be charged approximately $58 for a $30 oil change. I am very displeased with the service and thought I'd inform all consumers to BE AWARE OF THE SERVICE CHARGES....there appears to be unethical business practices done at this Snappy Lube location. \r \r Former Customer,\r H. This posting is in response to ""Dont Listen"". First and foremost I have and as my company and family have been using Snappy Lube since the day they opened, and lady you are so far off course!!. They have serviced my vehicles in a timely and professional manner each and everytime. Not once have they ever completed a service without first explaining it to me and the cost, I do know the recommendations they give me are according to the owners manual and I would and will recommend Snappy Lube to anyone. I dont know what this lady is talking about, every time I have been there the guys are so nice and quick. I love the fact they check my car over for me, I have no idea what half the stuff under the hood does and its nice to have someone with the knowledge to look out for me. As far as the oil cleaner is conserned, I have used it twice and couldnt be happier. I have been going there for a little over a year and would have no problem telling all my friends. more

The chumps don't listen! I wanted a simple oil change. No fancy monkey business. The guy sold me on the oil system cleaning, but I specified that I didn't want the whole $52 oil change. To my surprise at checkout, he apparently still threw in a fuel cleaning that I did not authorize or ask for. I was required to pay, despite my surprise. I would have made a bigger fuss with the manager if my 4 month old infant wasn't crying, but decided paying the extra $14 was worth getting out of there as soon as possible!!! Overall, my worst oil change experience so far. Won't ever go again. No wonder there wasn't a line. more
