We resorted to Smokin' Joe's on a Sunday night after a Chiefs game when we didn't feel like waiting in the perpetual line at Gates BBQ (we have not tried Gates BBQ yet ? in large part to the unmoving line). Pulling into the empty parking lot should have told us everything we needed to know about Smokin? Joes, but we were hungry and decided to try it anyway. more

Wonderful BBQ 12/13/2011

When we want BBQ and aren't near Arthur Bryants, we go to Smokin' Joes. They have a great lunch special and their hot BBQ sauce is the best BBQ sauce we have ever had! Their burnt end sandwich is one of our favorites. The fries are always cooked just right and hot! more

The BBQ meat is smoked just right. The burnt ends are about the best. Their sauce is very good and the hot variety has just the right kick. Pros: Great BBQ more

We almost always eat at Smokin' Joes for lunch. They offer great lunch specials at reasonable prices. Always a favorite for the work crew. Pros: price, quality Cons: it's not gates more

Top 3 bbq's in Olathe 10/31/2006

smokin joes is a great lunch stop for under 10$ the meat is cut medium to thick and is decently applyed the fries are good but not the best all in all it is just a small bussness that is a good place for lunch or even dinner. Pros: cheap, fast, easy Cons: dinner accomidations lack some more
