I am very happy with the work the technician did at my house. He managed to fix every window and also cleaned up after himself. Overall he went the extra mile.

Worst

I have been with this company for a year now; I am stuck in a 3 year contract, which is the only way they will do it. Their customer service is terrible. My alarm is never workin...

Do Not Use Smith Secuirty 12/17/2009

I have been with this company for a year now; I am stuck in a 3 year contract, which is the only way they will do it. Their customer service is terrible. My alarm is never working. They are constantly calling the police out on fake alarms getting me fined. I paid for the extended warranty and even then they want to charge me $89 to come out to fix it. This is such a bad company, once they have your money they don’t care about you anymore. Please don’t use them! Pros: they pretend to be a local company Cons: sells your account to central secuity group more

highly recommend 12/5/2009

I mainly went with Smith to save money on my monitoring, but shortly after switching our office actually had an attempted break in. The security system work perfectly and nothing was stolen from our office. I highly recommend Smith, I like how they have taken care of me so far, and I especially like the fact that every time I call the office I can speak to a live person. more

they are misleading about monitoring 6/22/2009

They tried to make me sign a contract with another monitoring company (Central Security group) by just handing me the papers and telling me to sign. Come to find out they actually sell you immediately and they will not be able to help you with issues about your system or service after just a couple of months. I though they were another Smith but they are not. Pros: none Cons: they dont actually monitor you more
