a great deal, especially during their occasional monthly sales. they supply nice acrylic colors for real cheap - around 2 bucks for 6 oz. in addition they carry good novelty yarns and needles. they also stock tons of knitter's magazines and books. this store is the place to go for restocking on yarns. Pros: good selection, great variety, cheap prices more

Finally! A haven for knitters! This is the place to buy heavily discounted yarns. I am a novice knitter and NOT willing to spend $15 for 50g of acrylic yarn in Manhattan stores (Yarn Co, Stitches East etc). This place has balls of yarn for $1, the store is gigantic and the salespeople can help you with any project. I'm there! Pros: cheap, huge store Cons: 1 hr subway! more
