I had been given a pretty decent haircut by a very nice lady at this salon location once before. I decided after growing my hair out for almost two years to get a pretty simple medium length slickback haircut. I was rushed through the service this second time at ""Smart Style"" and the manager on shift who stole her co-worker's haircut heard three or so words out of my mouth and then decided to make me point at a picture in a book that looked only similiar to what I had explained so she could use that as her plan b when I didnt like the military haircut she gave me. Not only did she not do what I asked and treat me like an inconvenience because I showed up at 5:30 when she was already trying to close though the hours said she was open until 6pm, but during the haircut she admitted that she had done 4 haircuts in 20 min while the other stylist had been waiting all day for work and had simply stepped out to get a drink. She and her co-worker also proceded to have a conversation about raunchy topics one of which included how to tell a mans sexual orientation. At the end of the haircut, I gently mentioned that what she had done to my hair was not what I asked and only slightly similar to the picture she had me point to her answer was that I pointed at the picture. She then shrugged me off and walked away. This being the day after I just called to see whether they would want to do something about my being so dissatisfied and I managed to get the same stylist/manager on the phone that cut my hair. I kindly mentioned that I am unhappy with having gotten such a different haircut than what I had asked for, she said in a short-tempered tone, "" What do you want me to do about it?!"" I can only hope that later when I speak to her supervisor that this person will care to have my business again enough to make good on a poor situation.
