First of all, there was some serious High Pressure sales tactics on the phone that should have been my first clue. They were scheduled for 8:30 am and when they didn't show up I called and was told they would be there at 3:30 (trying to put the blame on me even though I have the confirmation email to prove it) beyond that- they didn't show til 5:30. OH it gets better, then they had the nerve to charge me an 18% sur charge?!?!?!? For what!?!?!? AND they wouldn't take a credit card they said,"" Our credit card machine is down"" so I had to go get cash. All-in-All the total price was DOUBLE what they quoted me. The actual move was OK but I think they are TOTAL SCAMMERS. more

There is no company at this location called Small Moves. A google search has shown there has not been a company here for years. more

After moving with the military 22 times in 24 years it is refreshing to know a civilian company could do such great job. These young men worked as a team and finished the job 1 hour sooner than the quote! I will recomend this company to all our friends and family. Pros: Work quickly and carefully more

I am so HAPPY my move went so SMOOTHLY. I was releved to see the movers at my door, the were polite and put me at ease right away. After reading the two poor reviews I was worried. It became instantly apparent those must have been hard to please customers. The guys did nick one of my end tables and had a repair man calling the next day to fix it. I will be using them again when my house is finished and my parents are using them in June!! Pros: Clean, polite more

Want movers who will show up late? These guys ruined my furniture and have made no amends. They are the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. I cannot dissuade you enough to use another service. Cons: They ruin your furniture. more

Don't believe the hype. This company is trouble. 2 young men show up late and look like they are drugged, needing to use bathroom b/f working and did a poor job handling furniture. We have scratch marks to prove it. My wife is so upset, but doesn't want to pursue for fear of reprucussions. The men looked like trouble. We were all excited after viewing their website and reading reviews. What a disappointment. Stay away, or risk damanging your things. more

This was my 4th time using SMALL MOVES INC. and as usual they did a GREAT job. The crew they sent were soooo polite and clean cut. When we move again (and we will) there is nobody else I would use. They moved my Mom and Mother in law, and most all of my friends. And their sales staff were right on the money with my estimate, they practially run with the furniture. I did have one small damage to a desk and they had a repair compamy come out and I cann't even tell anything happened. ""60 minutes work per hour"" BELIEVE IT!! I've used Small Moves 3 times now. Won't use them again. I hired, paid and gave them written instructions on what to drop where. They delivered a washer/driyer not 1/2 mile from the pickup as I wrote, but 20 miles away at the wrong property due to asking my husband rather than reading the directions or calling me. I hired them again to correct his because my husband was partially at fault. they did not show up. I called, and they said they thought my husband Bill had cancelled. No one called, and my I don't know who 'Bill' is. When I explained the problem with taking orders from anyone except the person hiring them in order to prevent it from happening again, the agent said 'yeah' and hung up on me! Pros: availability Cons: Bad customer Sx, nicked walls, mixed results more

These guys really did put in 60 minutes work per hour, just as their logo says. When they did take a break, they deducted the time from my charges. Their estimate was very accurate. Most importantly, they were careful with our stuff. And as an added bonus, the crew was fairly personable. I recommend you consider this company when planning a local move. more
