I'D RATHER WALK THAT SET FOOT IN ONE OF THESE CABS AGAIN - DRIVER EXTREMELY RUDE 2/1/2009

I had to get a cab to the airport to pick up a rental car & when the driver arrived to my hotel, I was waiting outside. I asked if he was headed to the airport & his response was ""Am I headed to the airport? Of course I'm headed to the airport - where else would I be going? You called a cab for the airport and one shows up, it's obviously headed to the airport."" It was all downhill from there.\r \r The driver was extremely rude & beligerent. He told me the dispatcher had said the person who called for the cab ""had an attitude - and he was right"". The hotel had actually called the cab. This driver showed up ""ready to fight"" apparently. At one point he stopped the cab and told me to get out.\r \r I told the Courtyard Marriott about my experience & they said this company is a last resort. They've had problems with them in the past and now I know why. Avoid this company AT ALL COSTS. I would rather crawl on my hands and knees then be stuck in a car w/ these drivers at the mercy of their obvious need to exert control over someone. Cons: RUDE driver, RUDE driver, RUDE driver, RUDE driver, RUDE driver, RUDE driver & RUDE driver. more

WORST TAXI COMPANY AND SERVICE 11/27/2008

Once again..let's start with the dispatcher. She is one of the rudest buisness people anyone should ever have to deal with. First off, I called 2 weeks before the day I needed to be picked up to make a reservation for a taxi to pick me and my sister up at Cal Poly at 6:10 am and to take us to the train station for our train that left at 6:45. I called the day before to confirm our reservation and everything was fine. We went outside at 5:55 am and waited till around 6:15 am when I called the cab company and explained my situation and before I could finish, this rude lady tells me a cabs on the way and hangs up. Around 6:20 am I called my mom and told her what was happening and my mom calls the company. The lady tells her that kids without reservations, had swarmed the van before us and yells at her that the cab was on the way back and that there was nothing she could do then hangs up on my mom. My mom calls back 5 times and the lady picks up the phone each time and hangs it right back up. At 6:30 am, 15 mins before our train leaves, a cab shows up. We jump in with 8 other people in the van, and all we can hear is the lady over the radio telling my sister and I to tell my mom to stop calling. Then, one of the kids didn't have any cash on him and we were going to have to make a stop at an ATM, because we didn't have any time to stop I said I'd pay for him, little did I know that they would charge us $10 EACH, to go around 8 mins in the cab. I payed $30 for my sister, the kid who didn't bring cash, and myself for a cab that left us standing in the rain for 35 mins, and made it so we jumped on the 6:45 train at 6:44. This is the worst cab buisness I have ever used. The dispatcher should be apalled at her ""customer service"", I highly recommend NEVER relying on them to be on time anywhere. I hate beach city cabs, and have had multiple experiences where i am unable to get a ride. Or it takes an hour. If they are not too busy, its usually ok. But the dispatch lady is a total bi*** and always has been. She will totally hang up on you and i have a feeling she doesnt answer if she doesnt feel like it. Their drivers have always been really nice though. They make conversation with you and usually know exactly where they are going. One even agreed that their dispach is awful. They are the only reason i give 2 stars, instead of ZERO. Pros: Driver attitude Cons: Dispatch attitude more

A Joke? 1/11/2008

First I'll start off with the lady on the phone. It's rare when someone treats a customer so badly that you wonder if she is actually putting effort into being miserable and worthless. I tried to set up a pickup, and she balks call 15 min before you need it, and hangs up before I explain to her that I need a ride in 15 min. I called back right away and got a voicemail.\r \r I was headed to the bars, so I found a ride with a friend. Once it was time to leave, I called for a pickup, and the same rude lady graced me with ""uhhh, we'll be there in 15, click!"" nothing showed up, I called back, and the lady seemed upset that I had the nerve to ask about a taxi showing up, but finally said ""we'll be there in 10"" and promplty hung up without letting me respond. Nothing ever showed up, I ended up walking the 5 miles home. Durinmg the walk I'd waved at at least 6 taxi's... None stopped, either because they were doing 70 in a 35 and could not see me, or the fact that this cab company is a joke.\r \r Don't rely on this company. Your better of drinking and driving. Pros: being hung up on and lied to is fun? Cons: Worthless, terrible service, you'll end up walking. more
