I took my yorkie to several vets trying to find out what was wrong with her.. she was diagnosed with every thing from an allergy to fleas,, to I was feeding her the wrong food......

I took my yorkie to several vets trying to find out what was wrong with her.. she was diagnosed with every thing from an allergy to fleas,, to I was feeding her the wrong food...and many things in between. I spent a fortune trying to find out what was wrong because she was getting worse and worse by the day.\r \r The first time I took her to Dr Firman he diagnosed her with Cushings Disease...and began treatment immediately. Unfortunately due to the late diagnoses.. she suffered horribly and was much further along than she would have been had I taken her to Dr Firman to begin with.\r \r I adore his office staff.. and Mike is so knowledgeable that I know I can trust his advise when Dr. Firman is not available. Completely all around wonderful experience more

Very knowledgeable staff 2/25/2010

I brought my dog to slidell veterinarian clinic last week after he broke his leg. Their staff was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable leaving my pet in their hands. They fixed him right up and we were on our way in about one hour. It is very hard to find a vet that you can trust but I found one. more

I started going to Dr. Francis with the Clinic in the 80's. Dr. \r Firmin was a young vetenarian when I first met him. I was a little leary with him treating my dogs, but that passed quickly. He is one of the kindest, compassionate veternarians that I know. I would not take my animals to anyone else. \r \r I would recommend him to anyone who loves their animals. more

Wonderful, wonderful place 7/9/2009

My family has used this vet as long as I can remember. In April we had to put our 11 year old Golden Retriever down due to lung cancer, and it was very difficult for me and my mother to do. Dr. Malley took very good care of her and the were so kind and caring. They also treat our three other dogs and I couldnt think of a better vet to take them to. Our other golden girl has been having problems and Dr. Firmin has been taking very good care of her, doing anything and everything in his power to get her better. He is a wonderful veterinarian who loves what he does and it shows in his work. I couldnt be more pleased with Dr. Firmin, Dr. Malley, and the staff at Slidell Vet. As long as I own an animal, I will always take them here! more

Really there for pets not money 6/12/2009

Fairly priced services and they don't sell you a bunch of merchandise that you ""need"". Most vets want to do EVERYTHING possible to put money in their pockets and your pet comes in second. Not here, the doctors and staff are sincere and honest. more

There prices are great for a family's who want to take care of there pets health,Since we have rescued Katrina victims (cats) each and everyone of them are seen by the doctors at Slidell Veterinary hospital.\r \r Thanks ! for loving are pets as much as we do! more

GREAT Doctors and Honest and GREAT Price 11/30/2005

I took my Sheltie to this vet for shots several months ago and the price was great. THe doctor was so gentle and nice! Last week She had a problem and i took her, he told me that her knees were popping out, but surgery was not a first choice! The other doctor i saw wanted to do surgery immediately to make the big bucks!!! This doctor wants to try other things first and use surgery as a last resort! He was great, nice, gentle, honest and All aroud WONDERFUL!!!! Trust these doctors here( there are 2 of them and both great) PROS: No Appointment, Great Price, Gentle, Nice CONS: Not a Single negative thing to say!!! more
