Sleek Sofas

I would appreciate any help from those who have been scammed by this company to help me recover my funds. i ordered in Jan and havent seen my furniture yet. It was really hard earned money and i feel thoroughly cheated more

OMG - the sectional is beautiful. It took a little longer that we anticipated - BUT WELL WORTH THE WAIT! We love it - the delivery was a smooth process - from the truck arriving early as promised - to the professionalism of the delivery guys. Each section was individualy wrapped and we could not believe how beautiful each section was - as the delivery guy(s) carefully unwrapped each section. They did a wonderful job helping set up the sectional in the living room and did not mind moving some items around. We, had our old sofa and they offered to help take it down to the car so we can dispose of it! What great customer service. The sectional was well worth the wait and we love to see the expression on our friend(s) and family faces when they see it for the first time - they all say it's beautiful! What you should know about Sleek Sofas: For most of 2006 and now well into 2007, Sleek Sofas took the money of dozens - perhaps hundreds - of people who simply wanted to purchase some furniture for their homes, and then never delivered it. To compound the problem, whenever these customers would phone or email to try to find out about their orders, Alex and Mary would ignore them or tell them lies. Those of us who were eventually able to recover refunds are now trying to work with those who were not to help them get their money back too. Do not make the same mistake we all did! If you want to avoid the prolonged misery Sleek Sofas put my family and many others through, you will avoid them at all costs. more

I was also worry about a delay with my order, but I didn't wanted to start all over with another company so I decided to wait a little longer and it paid off.\r I think their B B B rating is now a B, but anyways, I just wanted to let everyone know how pleased I am with the sofas that I ordered through them. \r It has been about a month since I received them and they are great.\r \r The discount they gave me also helped! Pros: Very good quality and value Cons: It's produce overseas and it does take some time to receive it. more

Short version: We ordered a sofa half a year ago in July, 2006. We never received it but Alex kept our money. When we try to contact him to find out what is going on, he either isn't available or tells us lies. Don't take my word for it, though: Go to the B B B website and look up 'Sleek Sofas'. This outfit has multiple complaints against it (including mine!) and the good ol' B B B gives them a big, fat 'F' rating! You have been warned! more
