0 stars is what this company rightfully deserves. First of all, the device itself works 50% of the time. The other half, you are left stranded with no assistance, locked from starting your vehicle or forced to pull over on the side of the road. You will pay hundreds of dollars for a service that does not work.
However, my main issue was customer service. I’m in the United States military. Committing to anything long term is difficult in this field. I was upfront with Skyfine from the beginning, and they took full advantage of this. They were not flexible when scheduling calibration appointments, expected me to drive long distances/pay tolls during a work day, and penalized me for missing calibrations due to lack of communication by the technician and extended periods at sea with no cellular service. After returning home, the very next day, I drove my car an hour, one way, for a calibration. Instead of calibrating the IID the technician removed the device from my car, and I was charged an early termination fee. I was given no notice by Skyfine, or the technician. After calling customer support to clarify, I was hung up on several times after stating my name. I have not missed a payment, and I was 1 month away from my lease termination date.
PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE SKYFINE AS YOUR IID PROVIDER.
