Skip's Other Place has the BEST food! Their prime rib is my favorite, and their soups are homemade and delicious. It's pretty pricey, but if you want a nice romantic dinner with good food and good atmosphere, try Skips...it's worth it! When you're done with dinner, Lake Michigan is a short drive down the road. more

Great food 7/31/2005

Skip's is the other great restaurant in New Buffalo. It has delicious, fresh food and a romantic atmosphere. They cater special events and have a wide variety on their menu. This restaurant usually closes down for part of the year, then opens back up to people who can't wait to get a taste again. The bar area is small, but it suits its purpose. The owners are very-friendly and strive to make people happy and comfortable. It's definitely worth a try. more
