I was desperately in need of a makeover, and luckily, I found Sela, the Master Hair Artist! I had dreadlocks almost to my waist, which was just too much to handle in the Houston heat. I needed some relief asap, so I called her to make an appointment, and she was able to see me right away! Although, she hadn't worked with dreadlocks before, she said she loves a challenge, and would be happy to help. Twenty minutes later, I was in her chair, and we began to sort through my tangled mess. I thought there wouldn't be much hair to salvage, so I was expecting to leave with with a 'boy cut.' But thanks to Sela's expertise and creativity, I have a haircut I can rave about! The style she gave me makes me feel like a supermodel! It is much longer than I ever thought was possible, which will make the the regrowing process much more tolerable, because I won't have that awkward 'in-between' stage to suffer through. I had a wonderful experience at this spa! The facial was great! the massage was great! and the pedicure was great! i loved how welcome everyone made me feel. It wasnt like most of the spas ive been to where they just rush you in and out. It seemed like the employees there actually cared about the client! I will deffinitly be recomending the spa to everyone i know! more

My husband sent my daughter & I one Saturday as a surprise. I was really impressed with all of my services and felt really welcome there. Unlike another spa I visited one time, Skin Essentials services were very pampering and relaxing. My daughter enjoyed her first experience at a day spa and all of the technicians treated her great! She even got her makeup done complimentary while she waited for me to finish my massage. more

Skin Essentials Med Spa is one of the nicest spas in the Houston area. I have had numerous services at Skin Essentials such as hair removal, facials, photo-facial, manicure/pedicure, and each service has given results exactly as the spa advertised. The staff is professional, relaxed, and have the best interest of the client at heart. The spa is unique for the area, reasonably priced, and it is a great experience.
