I have enjoyed Dr. Landow for 10 years. He's very good, very professional. I realize he's gotten into more of the "botox" crowd in the last few years, but has always taken the time to help me with my various skin conditions. A very smart and personable guy. I can't imagine he being discourteous to anyone. more

Dr. Landow is apparently ready to treat LOYAL, LONG-STANDING patients with utter disrespect and insensitivity. I had been a patient (i.e. customer/client/person-who-pays!!) of the doctor's for close to ten years. My wife had been seeing him for a number of years, as well. I always looked forward to seeing him. My wife has a growth on her shoulder that he wanted to biopsy, but said he needed to wait until after she had given birth to our newborn son. We have been worried about it for nine months, but now that our baby is three weks old, we went to see him. We took both our 3 year old and our newborn to the office, as we cannot afford a sitter right now. Unfortunately, our newborn has a terrible skin rash and was crying heavily when being changed (the assistants let us use a room-they had no diaper changing table). When Dr. Landow came into the room, the first thing he said was , "That's a lot of noise!" with no sense of humor or sympathy. No hello, no how are you, nothing. He took a quick look at my wife's shoulder and said he needed to biopsy. He then said shortly that he kids needed to be "taken out." No reason, no explanation, nothing, and left without a word. He was cold, short and rude when taking the biopsy-while I waited with two small children in the hot sun outside. My wife was on the verge of tears. After years of being a patient, he treats us like that. Unfortunately, Dr. Landow now deserves the lowest marks possible. more

I went to Dr Landow for patches of dry skin on my upper arms with loss of pigmentation. I suspected it was some sort of psoriasis which he confirmed. When I asked how you get it he just pointed to the sky, I asked what are you saying, god?, he just pointed again and with a puzzled look on my face he finally said who knows. He also brought in a very nieve looking young female assisstant (as witness in case someone complains) then proceded to tell me and point, almost touching my private parts which areas I need to wash with soap and which areas to avoid to assist with diminishing the symptoms. It was very uncomfortable. He didn't tell me what kind of psoriasis and the suggestions he did mention he managed to squeeze in a comment about how I wouldnt follow his advise anyhow. Little did he know I'm an ICU nurse. Very arrogant and belittling. I would highly suggest an alternative doctor. more

I have been a patient of Dr. Landow for over 10 years. I have been treated with the professional medical care I would expect every time. I have 2 young children and would not hesitate to bring my children to him. My wife is also a patient of his and she continues to use him when his medical expertise is needed. His staff is of the highest quality, knowledgeable in the area of care patients are seeking and always willing to spent the time I need to answer questions of treatment to cost of services. Dr. Landow is the Doctor I will choose again. more

I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL DERMATOLOGISTS IN TOWN AND NONE COMPARE TO DR. LANDOW. I SEE DR. LANDOW FOR BOTH DERMATOLOGICAL AND COSMETIC PROCEDURES. HE ALWAYS MAKES ME FEEL COMFORTABLE AND GENUINELY KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. HE IS DEFINATELY MY LAST STOP FOR SHOPPING FOR A KNOWLEDGABLE DERAMATOLOGIST. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. LANDOW. YOU WILL LOVE HIS STAFF AS WELL AS HIS COMFORTABLE WAITING AREA. more

lived in new york and chicago and went to the best doctors there for botox and juvederm treatments. dr landow's results were even better than my famous doctors in bigger cities and without any pain. liked the numbing cream. big improvement. really appreciate the results. more

Great guy , know his stuff, get my botox and juvederm done here all the time - as its just seems to last longer when he does it, than at other clinics I have tried. more

I don't know how this doctor is still in practice. He was rude and didn't even diagnose or address any issues. We had made 2 appointments, one for me and one for my 11 year old son. The doctor walked into the room without a word, looked at my sons foot, said there was no problem and started to leave. I then told him that my son needed to be checked for something else and he refused to do it saying he was fine and too young to have any issues. He went to leave again and I told him that I also had an appointment. At that point he had the door to the office open and 2 other nurses were standing there listening. He asked what the problem was and when I said acne he continued to tell me that I was fine and looked fine in very mocking and rude tone and then he refused to see me and said that I would have to make another appointment if I wanted further care for that kind of issue. I was embarrassed and left footing the bill for 2 appointments when I didn't even get one good appointment. After talking with the front staff, they did only charge me for one appointment, but even that was a stretch in my opinion. Pros: None Cons: None or bad treatment more

New to the area I was looking for a new place to get my botox injections. I made an appointment and went in. The office itself was covered in advertisements for botox, juvederm etc. Kickbacks maybe? I talked to the Dr he marked my face of where the injections were to go, then he sent the assistant in to tell me the price. He wanted to put more than 50 units in my face!!! The price itself for the unit was good per unit, but did I really need that much? The price was higher than I paid before because of how many units he was wanting to put in. I am 31 years old and I have been receiving botox injections for the last three years. I have never received more than 25 units. My last injection was in June and not completely worn off. Needless to say I objected. I told him had been to 4 different offices and told him I only received around 25 units at most! He told me "you better go somewhere else." Guilty? A big scam with Botox is it can be diluted with saline. Pros: none Cons: over injecting, rude, all for profit gain more

Landow gets a BIG ZERO as a dermatologist. I spent $30 for a co-pay and he spent TWO MINUTES with my wife. She was referred by her primary - because he was on a list (he is now off the referral list after I talked with my wife's primary and the office manager). My wife has sores on her back and his ridiculous diagnosis was she "needs to stop scratching her back and get a prescription of tranquilizers from her primary". My wife has shoulder issues and can't scratch her back. She told him just that, and he said to my wife "if you don't like my diagnosis go see another doctor". What a mean little man, who doesn't know the difference between the Hippocratic Oath and a hippopotamous. Now if you are a pretty girl with $$ for botox he will slobber all over you. I reported him to my insuarnce carrier, and they said they won't be paying him a dime when he submits this bill to him. I am also going to report him to the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners. I would not trust this doctor. He is terrible! Don' go there. I'll guarantee that he would misdiagnose your symptoms and make it worse... Pros: Nothing Cons: Terrible/ more

I go to Dr. Landow for my botox injections. He's the best in town. He takes lots of photos before, takes the time to mark the problem areas, and also numbs the arears. I've have this procedure done other places and he's the best by far. He goes out of his way to make you feel as comfortable as possible. more

I used to have very troublesome/recurring acne for a long period of time and after seeing him and trying a few things my face cleared up and it hasn't gone back. He was very personable and professional and I have recommended him to my friends. more

If you have a genuine skin disorder .... DON'T GO HERE. All this "little man" has to offer is an botox injection. I have reported him to my insurance company. What could have been cured in my initial visit is now a major problem. This man should have his license revoked. more

Dr. Landow is a horrible doctor and a horrible person. After talking to him about my dry skin for only a couple of minutes, he refused to treat me unless I stayed away from my pets, even though I told him that my skin problems started before I got them! He absolutely would not treat me unless I stayed away from them, which would mean that I would have to give them up. He also talked about taking my pets by the tail and throwing them. Normally, I would think that this was a tasteless joke, but I think he was actually serious. I wish I could give him a negative star rating; he does not deserve a star. Please do not see him.
