Facial by Casey was fantastic! She gives an amazing massage (which is the real reason I get facials) and is really knowledgeable about skin. Vicki was so supportive during the whole ordeal with my outbreak and offered calming facials and personal attention. I now go to her for regular maintenance facials and she is always so thorough. I have been a client of Marywynn's for almost 2 years, and I started going to Skin when I was frustrated at the condition of my dry, reactive facial skin. Marywynn did a thorough evaluation and figured out that I had eczema, which required a different skin care routine than the constant exfoliation which other aestheticians recommended over the years. After decades of struggle, I had recently given up hope for my terribly reactive, hormonally messed-up skin. After a rough pregnancy and years of health problems that left me with terribly scarring cystic acne, I was frustrated and looked pitiful. I had many facials and found my skin would improve for a day or two then get even worse, and the expensive products I tried that seemed to work would just make things worse in the end. My busy schedule as a stay-at-home mom and my general distaste for long beauty routines did not help my skin. Then Kris Koby at Skin by Marywynn came to my rescue! I have had a series of four facials from her over a few months, and the difference in my skin is astounding! Kris taught me how to take care of my skin at home with simple, quick steps with no-fuss products that are inexpensive (and often can be found in your grocery store!) She gave me samples to make sure things would work before I spent money on them. She showed me how I had been doing things on ""expert"" advice that only made my skin worse. She even addressed the peeling and excema patches on my hands which have improved massively. Facials with her are as relaxing as a massage and I feel great afterward. Kris Kolby gave an excellent facial providing both skin-care knowledge and a truly relaxing spa-like experience. I was referred here by Urban Waxx (great place too!) for eyelash tinting and had a great experience with Vicki. My lashes look amazing! I was nervous about getting a facial because I have very sensitive skin, but I'm so glad that I went for it. It was so relaxing and my skin looked amazing after and still does a few weeks later! I had a lovely facial and eyebrow wax with new talent Kris Koby. She was very thorough and had a relaxing, gentle touch. I fell asleep! She was very sensitive to my needs for skin care products that I am not allergic to and came up with good substitutes.I enjoyed blissing out here. I've been seeing Vicki for facials for the past 2 years. It's great she has joined with Skin by Marywynn, the northwest location is great and you don't have to pay for parking. After the birth of my second child, my skin needed some much needed TLC and Vicki provided that and then some. She has educated me about proper products for my home care routine as well as information regarding the role diet can play in maintaining healthy skin. I wish my time allowed me to see her more often, I'd see her once a week if I could. My skin feels and looks better than ever and as a mom it's a great way to honor ""me-time"". I couldn't be happier after being referred to Marywynn' s by a friend. I totally agree with all the great things others have said on here so here's something new. I just tried the lash tinting. Hardest thing I've ever done, lay there and have someone mess with my lashes. Totally worth it. End result, awesome dark lashes that don't need mascara for the summer. I have super sensitive eyes and had no problems. It's amazing, I'm telling everyone! All the products used have been great. My first visit I was sent home with a couple of samples to try (I have to clarify this point because I have been charged for trial sizes before - these lasted a few weeks and were free!). Great way to hook a customer! I loved the products of course and now won't go without. Please give them a try, they are totally worth every penny! Pros: lash tinting, great products, atmosphere more

I feel so much better about my skin. I was at the end my rope with skin care/products and so forth and then I met Vicki. Her help has made a major difference about how I feel when I look in the mirror. She is the best and she has a client for life.. seriously.. I'm so glad that I found her. hmmm, i'll start at the beginning: pulling up and having a parking space(!), beautiful fun colors with inviting front desk, water w/ orange slices, fresh rose petal water to soak your hands (ahhhh), comfy beds & cozy covers....and now the really great part: marywynns hands are insane! you will be so relaxed, informed, laugh and day dream about what you need to do/sell to come every day. the lymphatic massage is so incredible. at first, i was a skeptic since what could that light touch possibly be doing?? but then, twice i've missed my exit home from the pure relaxation. then the products: tuel (love the sunscreen moisturizer & cleansing milk) and am now hooked on marywynns products: stress cream & eye cream. oh and for travel, the platinum mask is a no fail skin reviver for those overnight flights. AND yes, maybe they are a bit more than what you may be used to....but a few bucks more for glorious skin? um, i think it's worth it so step away from the 'organic all natural line' at your great grocery store and step up with these products because everyone will notice your great skin. Marywynn is brilliant. She is by far the best esthetician in NW Portland. She can work magic even with the most challenging skin. I hated my skin all of my adult life and Marywynn showed me how to LOVE it. Her facials transform your face.
