I purchased a Diamond facial from Urban Delights. I got a great deal and wonderful service. I was greeted at the door with a smile which gave me a sense of comfort. She was very personable. Since this was my first time getting a facial, I did not really know what to expect. She explained every procedure of process and it benefits for my skin. She also gave me some great recommendations for my skin care. I will be recommending friends and family and scheduling my next appointment very soon!! more

I purchased the Diamond facial from Livingsocial which was the best thing I could have ever done. When I walked in I was greeted with a beautiful smile, which really helped alot considering I was having a terrible day. Kristin (the owner), was very kind and made me feel very comfortable. She thoroughly explained all the procedures and talked with me about my skin and health. Kristin uses a Holistic approach in her practice which is a breath of fresh air. She encorporates mind, body and spirit when talking with you and shows you how all three work together for the better. Kristin took her time during the facial, I didn't feel rushed or that she was "skimping" (which I have in the past with other estiticians). I truly feel she enjoys her work and is here to help others. I will definately be going back for both facials and Thai Yoga Massages (and so will my daughter). This is my first review, and for someone who does not sit down long enough to tie my shoes this should say something in itself that I am here. I am writing this because I have had problems with my skin for years. Though this is not my first facial, this is the first time as esthetician has sat down with me and told me the emotional, physical and medical reasons my skin was the way it was. It was mind blowing! And it made so much sense. After the consultation I recieved one of the most relaxing and sometimes painful (I had a lot of things to extract..ouch!) facial. I never felt like she was out to kill my face.. it was the perfect "balance" = ). All in all I loved it and would TOTALLY recommend it to everyone in the Atlanta area needing a facial! more

Within the first 3 mins of my facial I knew I was coming back! Seriously! I've received facials at some of the best spas in and out of the country and this one far outranked anything I've ever experienced. Kristin's energy is just perfect. And the studio has absolutely wonderful Feng Shui. The restroom was so cozily decorated that it slipped my mind that I wasn't in a friend's home and accidentally sat on the seat! I mean who does that?! I received the Diamond Facial and it was absolutely perfect. It was one of the few times that I could leave a facial and not look like plastic face from all the products slathered on in the end (I'm African American and sunscreen usually doesn't blend very well - this time it did). I'm already planning my next visit! Hands down beats even the facials I've received in doctor's offices. more

I heard about Skin and Body through a friend of a friend. I was in dire need of a facial or microdermabrasion, but didn't know which way to go. I sat with Kristin and told her my concerns and what I wanted out of my skin and she was great. Very professional, helped me choose which facial would work best for my skin and my skin looked amazing afterward (I went with a blueberry peel). I have had facials before and this one was by far the best. I will definitely go back again. more

I did my homework trying to find a facialist within Metro-Atlanta for my first microdermabrasion facial/skin treatment (I read alot of reviews). Skin and Body Balance had great reviews and a good variety of services to address what I wanted from my first facial. I was so pleasantly surprised that not only was Kristin professional & personable but also really knowledgable about products and a skincare routine that would work for me... I had the best experience ever!!! Kristin really understood my skin care and provided just what I needed. I couldn't be happier with the microdermabrasion and the products she recommended. I have had the privilege of going to many spas and Kristin's facial was by far the best I have had. My skin is oily with large pores and because of radiation had some discoloring. I wanted to try the microdermabrasion and it was perfect. My skin looks like new, feels like peach skin. However, my favorite part was the massage while the mask was setting. Kristin's Thai massages are the best in Atlanta hands down. Not only is she skilled in massage, but is also an excellent aesthetican! She is very knowledgeable, and bright. I met Kristin about a month ago and because of her genuineness and approachability, I decided to give her spa services a try. She gave me a wonderful facial finishing off with a pumpkin mask which felt so good, and was just right for my very sensitive skin type. Kristin creates a relaxed, warm and inviting atmoshphere where I felt comfortable discussing my skin concerns, and found her to be very knowledgeable. I look forward to going back for a peel that she recommended for sensitive skin. On Saturday I tried the yoga, or tai massage at Skin & Body Balance. I was a little curious if I'd walk away in the same relaxed state as my favorite deep tissue massage. Turns out, Kristen game me the best massage I've ever had. I've never felt this loose and relaxed after a massage. The best part is I felt great for several days afterwards. I have a bad back, real tight shoulders and hips and they felt for the first time in a long time, opened up. No pain!!! Simply incredible. Thank you Kristen. I will be back for many more. more

I recently had my first thai yoga therapy session and I'm already looking forward to my next session. This treatment is incredible for athletes at any level, or for anyone who sits in front of a computer all day (as most of us do). It relieved the tension in my back and neck and completely energized me. I've had massages in the past, but this treatment is far more theraputic. I highly recommend it. I've also seen Kristin for my first facial peel. I have sensitive skin, and wasn't sure what treatment would be best for me. Kristin took the time to explain the difference between the treatments offered and explained which treatment would be the most beneficial for my skin type and why. I've had facials in the past, but never had someone take the time to evaluate my skin and discuss treatment options. My skin looks and feels wonderful, even days after the treatment. more

When I first met Kristin Ballantine she was at a first-rate spa and skin care facility in Buckhead. When I asked one of the owners who he recommended for a facial he, without hesitation, gave me Kristin's name. I had never had a facial before and didn't really know what to expect. She gave me a VERY thorough evaluation of my skin type, and the ideal treatment for it - she also encouraged me to ask any questions before, during and/or after my facial so I would fully understand what she was doing and why she made that particular recommendation. I went back to that facility multiple times and had the same great experience. When Kristin contacted me to let me know she was venturing out and opening her own facility I could not have been happier for her! Her sharp business sense and industry expertise teed her up perfectly for success. I made an appointment last week and was sorry I hadn't made it sooner! Being situated right in Brookhaven, her services cater to what are surely the high expectations of its residents, and residents in comparably affluent communities. She is extremely professional and uses the best products and equipment to ensure a pleasant and rejuvenating experience. I can't wait for my next appointment!
