Skeet Club Veterinary Hospital

I've been going to Skeet Cub Veterinary Hospital and their other hospital ( Total Care ) for over 8 years and I have always been happy with the concern of the staff and the expertise of the doctors there. The only time I have had any wait is when they were attending to an emergency (which is appropriate and what I would want if my pet was the emergency... which it has been before) I appreciate the careful explanations of the conditions and illnesses of my pets, and the recommendations for the best care possible. The doctors are very knowledgable and seem to love their work. I can't always do what may be optimal, and when that has been the case, the doctors have always taken the time to explain the pros and cons of the other options. On two occasions I have had to face serious emergencies with one of my pets, and both times the staff and doctors were very professional, thorough and attentive to her needs and I felt we received the best care available. My pets and I feel very comfortable there more

I am so sorry for the lost of your pet AshKiwi, but, I was surprised to read the review regarding Dr. Paul & Skeet Club Vet. We have had a completely different experience. We have been taking our beagle there for the last five years since he was a puppy and have only had good experiences. Dr. Paul is the vet we generally see and he is always warm and welcoming. We visited several vets before we chose Skeet Club. We noticed a huge difference as soon as we walked in. The staff was friendly and obviously animal lovers. Dr. Paul has always taken the time to speak with us regarding our pet and given us good information and great care. Our dog loves him - and we all know that animals are a great judge of character. We love our ""baby"" and he is defintely not just a pet - but, a family member. I wouldn't think of taking him anywhere else. more

Do not ever take your pet birds to this place.I wouldnt take anything here! I was confident to take mine and (Paul S. Bencuya) was the vet i saw. Well i had a very important situation that needed to be addressed right then. Well i had to wait 23mins. Then Dr.Paul came in said hey and that was the only intro we got at the time. Never introduced his self or shook hands. I new then it werent gona be good. My bird was very dehydrated and needed attention right then. I told him that and he said he knew(rudely). He wanted to do an xray first. Then he came back in and instead of giving my bird an iv then or even getting it ready he had to do another xray because he messed the first on up. I think after two xrays the bird was in shock. Then he wanted to tell me all his ""experience"" and all about him instead of giving my bird the attention it needed!!! Then made like the bird was going to be ok but we would have to take him somewhere else.Finally after bullshitn for almost an hour he say he would start the iv and my bird died in my arms before he could get anything set up!! I was devistated at the time and couldnt even talk i was so upset but the more i think about it NOW if he would of give him an iv when we got there and when i asked he to do something cause he was dehydrated my bird would probably still be with me. I think he just wanted to waste time so he wouldnt have to do anything to the bird. Then never gave me a reason for the death!!?Then he charged me almost 200 dollars for nothing cause thats what he did NOTHING!!! Not to mention i called ahead of time to make sure he could see my bird and they knew i was coming from an hour and a half away. I wouldnt recommend this office for nothing ecspecially if its an emergency!! Just cant stop thinking bout how wrong the whole vet visit was. . .Bad Bad Review!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE more
