What a surprise! I was buying a new place in Brentwood, and I needed help with the layout of the furniture. A friend of mine recommended a designer, Peter Cass. I was shocked that such a talented young man was at a furniture store in Reseda. When I walked in I thought I was in the wrong place because all I saw was hundreds of dinettes and barstools. I was directed through a showroom to another showroom which was breathtaking. Peter greeted me and explained that I could do whatever I wanted in terms of size, carving, finish and design. I set up an appointment for him to come to my home. After discussing my options I met him back in his showroom and we fine tuned the furniture together. When the furniture was delivered he brought out accessories to finish tailoring the look. I knew it looked amazing but after throwing a party and my friends being blown away it confirmed hiring a designer was the right thing to do. Thanks Peter and all the staff at Sitting Pretty. more

I was told about a furniture store in Reseda off Darby and I was very skeptical. I found that they have the best selection of casual dining and a great area in the back that you can customize your furniture to your liking. Susan helped and she was very friendly and was better than any designer I ever used. I will always check with this place before I ever buy from any place else. more

The place is incredible because there is so much to choose from. The vast selection of furniture is of the best quality. No IKEA here. The staff is very helpful and have the best recommendations to furnish all your household needs.\r \r The showrooms are beautiful. If they don't have what you want from their inventory, bring a picture and they will make it happen. Sitting Pretty has so many different types of furnishings that will accomodate your specific taste in style. Plus they have great sales and discounts. The barstools and chaise lounge I got were so much cheaper compared to other furniture stores. \r \r This would be a one stop shopping place for all your furniture needs. more

This place is amazing! Its located in a weird location, but inside is a treasure! Everything the high-end furniture stores sell, for 40-70% cheaper! (like the P.D.C.) in the valley for a lot less.... We also were thinking of using a Designer, cause we have a large house and we hired from Sitting Pretty, Peter Cass... This guy was amazing! We have used Designers in the past and got ripped off and did only a so so job... This guy saved us money and the house is so inviting, we love it!
