My experience with Sir Thomas was bad....all the way around. Did not want to use customer supplied parts, even though they were high quality parts (Dorman, Gates). He was intent on using his parts through NAPA. He relented, but was not happy about it, and said he would not warranty the repair. This vehicle has an interference motor, meaning that the timing of the motor is critical and parts can be damaged (valves/pistons) if the timing is not correct. Guess what? After determining that the car was not running correctly after his repairs, took it to another mechanic. Three of the spark plugs were fouled badly. Further investigation revealed that the timing belt was installed incorrectly (three teeth off). I do not consider this work to be that of a quality mechanic, let alone a recognized certified technician. I will also point out that myself, wife, daughter and daughter's friend all thought he was rather rude in our dealings with him. I WOULD NOT recommend his services.
