I work in the Financial District and there are TONS of breakfast spots in the vicinity...including every chain imaginable. So picture this, you get off the train in the morning (bus, whatever) and you see chain coffee place #1, chain coffee place #2, chain coffee place #3, and then, in the middle of the beautiful Post Office Square Park, is SIP! A little gem in the middle of it all. A clean, classy, environmentally-friendly cafe with nice baristas creating fine artwork in custom lattes. So what would you rather? A ""latte"" from a machine in chain coffee place #2? Or a custom creation with a swan swirled in, which the owner learned how to do in his travels to Italy?? No-brainer. Skip the chain places. SIP all the way.
Pros: Delicious breakfast and lunch, Latte art
Cons: Waiting in line
