I have been shopping at The Singing Store since the middle 80's. I have purchased many pieces of equipment and Karaoke disc, starting with the large laser disc and switching to 5 inch cdg's when they became avaliable. I have never had a problem with anything I purchased. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful. I would recomend The Singing Store to anyone. more

Alway A Great Experience at The Singing Store 8/20/2011

I've been shopping at the Singing Store for too many years to mention! They've always been very helpful and fair with their policies. Honestly, the person that posted the negative comment didn't seem reasonable. We've all experienced buying something electronic... get it home and it doesn't work out of the box. It happens at ALL stores that deal with electronics.. even the major chains. To be offered a replacement or upgrade seems reasonable to me! If a store that sells speciality items like Karaoke didn't charge a restocking fee for a return.... they'd be out of business in a flash. The Singing Store has been around for over 20 years... a rare bird in these times. I hope it continues to serve us Karaoke fanatics! more

Terrible Customer Service 8/10/2011

Not customer friendly at all. Bought a karaoke player (had bought one two years ago and it died on the day of my party and they said ""It's been two years.""). We put a disk in and it worked but then it wouldn't eject of play it again. That put a big damper on my party. Took it back the next day and they will only replace or upgrade. Like I trust them enough to buy another machine from them??? Finally agreed to a refund minus a 15% restocking fee. Does that mean they are going to resell the defective unit?? BEWARE WHAT YOU BUY THERE SINCE IT MIGHT BE THE ONE I RETURNED. They acted like they were doing me a favor selling to me and they don't take any responsibility for anything. STAY AWAY! more

Rude Workers!!! 2/11/2010

I went in there to ask a few questions about the Magic Sing Karaoke system, like how much it would cost to buy an upgrade chip, etc. OMG!!! She acted like she was doing ME a favor. Anyways, they charge $100 for the chip, it's only $60 on EBAY...So I guess, I we have to pay an extra $40 for the RUDE ASS SERVICE?
