I love their delicious spinach patties, I even tried their fish patties which are delicious as well. Great place to grab a smoothie and some desserts.

An Atmosphere Like No Other 10/23/2006

Simply Wholesome attracts all kinds of different people from seemingly every part of the globe. The relaxed, comfortable ambiance makes for the perfect place to reconnect with old friends, enjoy a nutritious mid-afternoon snack or order take-out when one tires of unhealthy greasy fast food. The grocery store has the organic products, at very competitive prices, that other stores don't carry. Simply Wholesome seems like much more than a restaurant, in fact, it is an experience. I was absolutely astonished at what has developed over the years into one of the most happening spots in L.A.!!! more

local, Healthy food store and restaurant 8/24/2005

This neighboorhood joint attracts people for it's great atmosphere --reggae playing in the background, outdoor seating, natural foods and no lines! While the store section is small, you can find all the basic essentials. The cafe food is good and you can sit and chat with friends for hours without being harassed. Don't get overly-ambitious with the food, though as it can be hit or miss. I mostly like it because it has a great neighborhood feel and it has healthy food instead of fast food. more
