I love Dr. Simon! She has taken care of all of my animals. For a brief time I tried a different vet and was not satisfied at all. When I had to put my dog Max down, she was there through it all for me. She even sent a card afterwards. I recently took my other dog Maddie in for her shots. Dr. Simon asked right away how I was doing. It wasn't just a question, there was a true concern. Right after I came home with my dog from her shots, my cat became hurt from a nail coming out. We went right back to Dr. Simon, she was available right away, and didn't charge for the office visit. Sometimes there is a wait at any doctors office, no one likes it but it is reality. more

Minooka Animal hospital is one of the best vet clinics that you will find in Grundy County. I work at the animal hospital as a one of the kennel staff. I have worked with the doctors and know them all very well. i have watched and seen them in surgery and it is just simply amazing at what they can do. they try their hardest to help the sick and injured animals but sometimes no matter how much you want the animal to get better it just doesn't happen. i found that out with two of my cats i had to put down this year, they both were very sick. One had suffered from jaundice and had a inflamatory disease, its liver basically was being eaten out from the inside and my other cat she had a stroke when she was five and was going down hill from there. i chose to put them both to sleep because i couldn't bare to see them that way, i didn't want them to suffer. Doctor Simon and Dr. Tourville, two of the best veterinarians i have ever known where there for me every step of the way. They are amazing veterinarians and are very dedicated to their work. more

our 2 year old yorkie was groomed at this facility and his genitals and under tail where severely cut! after a few days with no improvement we took our yorkie in and the vet stated that the wound was from licking! our dog was in so much discomfort it could not reach its genitals to clean its own wound, i understand things happen but for some animal caretaker (a veterinarian) to lie and avoid any guilt makes me wonder what would happen if the wrong medicine or dose was given out!!! that day i went to another vet and took my six animal accounts with me. more

We have known Dr. Simon since 1995. She is a caring professional who puts the needs of the animals first! I drive about 20 miles to her clinic for my dogs, and I recommend her to everyone who is looking for a wonderful vet, office and staff. When you go to an appointment with Dr. Simon, you see DR Simon, not a vet tech. You always see Dr. Simon, not a new vet every time. We love her! more
