infections 11/20/2010

Post-surgical infections are common here. Please try to get to Los Robles or St. Johns if you can. Poor overnight are by nurses, never answered calls more

Parent to Patient 5/23/2010

Recent experiences at Simi Valley Hospital. The ER nurses, doctors and tech's were wonderful everytime I had to visit. However just this past May I have found the business end to be rude non caring so bad that it makes me want to go to another hospital. They really need to bring back some of the other people there that seemed to care about the patients in the business end. more

If you have a choice of hospitals that you need to stay at for either medical reasons or surgery, I really recommend that you steer clear of this one. The staff seems to work on a skeleton crew and they are way too overworked for the amount of patients they have there. Just try pushing your call button and see how long it takes for someone to respond. more

Our staff is specially trained to handle both individual cases and larger groups of patients who require attention following accidents or natural disasters.

    Our team of dedicated medical professionals includes:


    Board-certified Board-certified emergency medicine physicians on duty 24 hours a day.


    Specially trained and certified mobile intensive care nurses (MICNs) who work closely with local paramedics and fire companies to deliver pre-hospital care while patients are en route to the Emergency Department.


    Registered Nurses (RNs) and other staff members with special training and experience in emergency care.


    The Emergency Department offers a full range of services,including the following highlights:


    As a paramedic base station,we are in continuous radio communication with local paramedic and fire units.


    Our helipad makes it easy for patients who must be airlifted to receive care as quickly and efficiently as possible.


    We offer a Fast Track program in the Emergency Department for patients with minor injuries and illnesses 7 days a week from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.


    Patients who are part of the Lifeline Program have the peace of mind of knowing that our staff is always available to respond to an in-home emergency.
