Simi Hills Golf Course

Grew up on this golf course, it is a blast to play. Pricing is very reasonable and the course is a lot of fun. It is by no means a difficult course yet it's a good, solid challenge to all handicaps. PROS: Fun! CONS: Tends to be very slow play as it gets packed more

Many years ago, when it was still a ""fledgling course"" and I was a true rookie, I played this course weekly. As with all things, I moved around courses and after the passing of my regular golf buddy, I did not visit Simi for over 15 years. Wow, what a fantastic shot of nastalgia and the warmest feeling I've ever gotten from a course. It's in fantastic condition, those little trees and bushes are all grown up and the creek on the back side, that we used to jump over is a now a true hazard. The course is in the best condition I can ever remember and the staff/starter/ambassodors were most cordial. Overall this past weekend 11-13-05 was one of the best outings I can remember is a long time. This is a large, pretty course. There is a lake coming in the drive that has ducks in it. They have a pro shop there. You can also book lessons here, either in groups or individual. You can buy gift certificates. You will probably want to make a reservation for a tee time. more

This is a well maintained golf course with a beautiful setting and moderate difficulty rating. It's semi hilly, has a water hazard complete with ducks, it's not very long, but can be a test from the back tees. more

This golf course has the greatest Pro EVER!. I have never had a more patience teacher. My girlfriends and I took lessons from him when he was at another course and I followed him when he moved. They also have a great junior program for the kids. My friends son takes part in those and he has really learned alot. The course in pretty nice too. There is a park with ponds and ducks as you go up the drive to the course and they just re did the driving range last fall. Pros: Great Pros, Patience Staff, Great Location more
