As much as we all hate moving, from time to time you have a great experience. This was the case for me and Silver Spring 495 Moving Services. They were supremely professional and helpful. The first time I called I knew that I was in good hands. They showed up ahead of scheduled, wrapped and moved me with efficiency. I hate moving, but these folks made it just a bit easier. more

Great Movers 9/20/2012

Very good experience. The guys worked quickly and were careful with our furniture. All the furniture was blanket wrapped. And there`s no way we could have gotten the couch into the basement of our new home without them. They confirmed the appointment the day before, and called when they were en route that afternoon. Would definitely recommend. more

Movers arrived on time, were courteous and took all the steps necessary to protect our belongings. I was pleasantly surprised by the price and service. Next time I move, I will use Silver Spring 495 Moving Services again. more

Great Movers 9/20/2012

They were amazingly fast! They were very talented when it came to getting large items out of doors and around corners. They also had to manually hoist my mattress, wooden desk, and wooden file cabinet up to the second floor. The only stairs up to the second floor were spiral which made it impossible to use for these large items. They securely wrapped all of my furniture before it left the apartment. 2 of the guys also helped me put together some Metro shelving because the TV had to be placed on it. They were very professional and extremely efficient. more

Silver Spring 495 Moving Services crew arrived at the hour we had set for the starting time. They were hard-working, and clearly had a lot of experience; they didn`t need a lot of explaining from Javier on what to do next. There certainly wasn`t any standing around slacking. more

This is the best company we have ever used. Silver Spring 495 Moving Services team were prompt, polite, careful, not a single broken item, or damage to either home. They were very efficient..no standing around chatting like every other moving company we`ve hired. We were very impressed and cannot say enough positive things about them. Very, very hard working!!! more

They packed and moved my computer and my video and audio equipment with no damage. For a rush job under difficult conditions, they seem to have done a very impressive job. I have found nothing missing or damaged in the slightest. They protected the electronic equipment well, and wrapped my desk in such a way that they could turn it sideways or upside down without losing any of the contents of the drawers. more

SPAM MOVERS - SCAM MOVING COMPANY - STAY AWAY 8/8/2012

This company was a joke! They were to show up with four men and only showed with three, they were 4 hours late, then had to pay them to come back a second day. They broke items - threw boxes in the truck and there was even a missing item of my oldest son. I tried to contact the company and they didn't seem to care. Check the BBB - they have an F for a review - I'm glad you had good experiences with the company but ours was terrible and we only moved 1/4 mile down the street. I put a claim in but still haven’t heard back and it’s' been almost 2 months. I suggest you check out the BBB before ever using this company. more
