My wife and I have been eating here for awhile now and love this place. Their pad thai is excellent. I can also heartily recommend the spring rolls and their mixed vege's and chicken. You can tell the chef knows his chops because in each of his dishes the ingredients complement each other. The way that you can tell when someone isn't very good at their craft is when there is one flavor that dominates the others in a dish. This is what seperstes an artist in a kitchen from a cook. Unfortunately there is one fly in the ointment though, their sushi is just okay. I find it on the bland side. I had a crazy roll and it lacked any crunch and the eel was completly missing in action. The best sushi I have found in the Pines/Miramar area so far is at the Amazing Thai/Japanese restuarant. Bon apetite!! more

We discovered Silver Spoon (SS) two years ago when we moved to South Florida and have become regular customers there. Unfortunately, we live in Miami Lakes, so it's a bit of a drive. However, but we were super excited to find that they opened a new location right down the street from our house!\r The Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups are our favorite appetizers and we order them regularly. I have tried several Thai restaurants in the area and think that the Tom Yum soup at SS is the best so far. Other dishes that we've enjoyed include the Pad Thai and the Chicken with Basil Sauce. The sushi at SS is skillfully prepared with quality ingredients. We have never been dissatisfied with sushi we've ordered there. The Rainbow and X-mas rolls are two of our favorites. We do not recommend ordering the teriyaki dishes as once we ordered chicken teriyaki and felt that it was very bland. \r We have dined-in at SS and think that the decor is very cute. However, we most often take advantage of the 10% discount if you order your food online. We think that the prices here are very reasonable and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. My only concern is that now there is a location in Miami Lakes, we may go broke! more

I always order from SilverSpoon, at least once a week. I always get delivery since I just have a baby.\r Last week my papaya salad was too bitter, tasting different than usual, and I called back to tell them. They did suggest another one, but I ask for another salad for the next time that I'll order food from them again. They said it was ok. Today when I called to place my order I told the girl on the phone and she ask this guy ALEX and he said that if I order a papaya salad he will give me extra salad. I said that I don't need extra salad I just need a salad that I didn't eat, and he refuses to give me and she said sorry but she could't do anything since the manager wasn't there. Ok, manager is not there but who's taking care the business. It was rude he's attitude, and seriouly he needs to know a little bit more of customer service. \r I will call the manager tomorrow and I will tell him about it.\r Besides that, the food is great more

Great Thai food, love the wide noodles. They were made exactly how I like them and sooo cheap. Good food, clean and inviting atmosphere, at a cheap price, can't beat that. more

I was introduced to Silver Spoon by my neighbor when I first moved to Miramar. I instantly feel in love with how its quaint atmosphere and modern decor, which are a great compliment to the amazing food and service. I love their curries and other thai fair, and their sushi is some of the freshest, most flavorful stuff I've had since living here. I'm a huge sashimi-lover, so I always get the sashimi salad, which rocks. They also have great lunch specials for thai and sushi for less than $10--and you get a tremendous amount of food. I highly recommend Silver Spoon ; ) more
