The online menu said that side dishes were included with the entrees but then the diner called and they were not included. They said that a salad was included but then no salads arrived with the entrees. The order did not include napkins or utensils. The portions were small and we were still hungry after eating. On the plus side the food was very delicious. more

I ordered the meatloaf. It was pretty good. The mashed potatoes were excellent! The dressing for the salad and the sauce for the chicken tenders (same sauce) was watery. Ordered the Top Hat burger for my mom. She liked it. I would order again. more

If you are out in the Arlington area and are craving a late night snack I highly recommend stopping by Silver Diner and loading up on pancakes, French toast, or an omelette at this Silver Diner. Serving small or large crowds is never a problem at this location. You will notice many other late night groups following in suite after leaving the bar, but the wait is never long. Don't go in this diner expected 5 star food, but I promise you that you will never leave hungry. So the next time you are in Clarendon and looking for some cheap late night eats, grab your friends, a few quarters for the jukebox and head to Silver Diner! Pros: Delicious Breakfast all day and night Cons: Late Sunday Mornings can get crowded more

been going here for years. grownup food is pricey and nothing to write home about. one night, they ran out of mac and cheese. HUH? how does that happen? but kids nights on tuesdays is fun and kids get a free milkshake on tuesdays if they are wearing their kids club wristband. more
