Thank you so very, very much! 4/3/2012

Earlier this year it became obvious that I was going to need upper and lower dentures. I was devastated!!! I reluctantly began the process, have a few teeth extracted on each visit (I was seeing a different dentist). On two different occasions a canine tooth broke off, leaving a large portion of the root behind. The second time this happened I spent six days trying to find an oral surgeon who accepted DSHS coverage. Lori, at SeaMar Dental in Marysville, gave me Dr. Dang's number. After reaching his office they had me in the next day for removal of the root. Dr. Dang spent a considerable amount of time discussing my medical and dental history. At this time I had eight teeth that still needed to be extracted, including the canine root. I told him that I would prefer to have the rest of my teeth removed that day, and his secretary went to work to get the approval to do so. As we proceeded, Dr. Dang was kind, very considerate, and gentle. Two days, and eight extractions later, I was in less pain than when I entered his office. Dr. Dang is a excellent dentist, and even though I live over 50 miles away from his office, the travel time is worth it!! I will recommend him to everyone I can!!! more

Dentist that I trust!! 1/14/2011

To be fair, this place deserves much better respect than some of the reviews that I’ve seen. I used to go there as a patient (now I moved far away so I can’t go there any more). In my honest opinion, he genuinely cares about his patients. Yes, he did express his frustration a few times (while I was on the dental chair) about some patients not compliant with his treatment recommendation, canceling the appointment at the last minute or not showing up at all for the appointments, all of which cause a lot of stress since this place accepts Medicaid, and it is business to run..( there aren’t that many private dental clinics that accept Medicaid because they don’t really make money off Medicaid patients in general.) Yes, he can work on communication part a bit better, but if you ask him about your treatment options or your dental concerns, he will tell you straight and honestly the best options for you. He is one of the most clinically competent dentists I have ever seen. It seems there has been some misunderstanding about this dentist probably due to the cultural differences. You just need to respect him and his time, and he will do the same favor for you. Also, they have Vision Center, so if you have both dental and vision insurance benefits, you can get both dental care and eye exam/eye glasses at the same place. The optometrist is very nice, too. I’d go there again 100% if I lived closer. The place is right across Everett Costco, and they keep their place extremely clean (excellent infection control), which I think is also an important element in choosing the right dentist. more

Terrible 6/29/2010

This place is HORRIBLE! I should have known something was wrong when I saw the sign stating not to bring your children or additional people to the clinic! The receptionist said ""you'll be done by 12, he likes to eat at 12 so you'll be done."" (Like he would take a lunch break during the oral surgery!) He screamed at my mom all through the procedure while she cried and shook. He said she was ""not cooperating"" and that he ""do this for 100 dollar when it should be thousands"" He threw his tools around like a child and got mad when the lunch time came and went. My mom told him she had feeling back in her mouth but if they we close to stitches that she didn't need more Novocain and he said ""you don't tell me what to do."" This place should be shut down. NEVER GO HERE Pros: accepts DSHS Cons: Everything else more
