Very disappointing. The Silo's prices and white table cloths led my wife and I to expect good food and service. The service was horrid. While the main dishes were okay, the side vegetables were overcooked and rubbery. The owner made a pass through the restaurant and made a joke with people at an adjacent table about there being no need to go anywhere else to get good food. He either doesn't know what good food is, or he's delusional. Either way, skip this place. more

Going to the Silo Restaurant is worth every penny. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly and the food is delicious! I reccommend the Silo Restaurant not only for an evening of dining but for your wedding ceremony and reception. The grounds are gorgoeous and they provide excellent service to all your needs. more

Worth the drive 11/14/2006

Having passed by the sign for many years, I finally got a chance to eat at The Silo. It was worth every mile! The service was OUTSTANDING! Our waiter would be right at home in any four star restauant. The food was wonderful. Everyone of our four dinners was delicious. We spent the entire ride home arguing who got the best dish :) The chocolate mousse was diine! I can't wait to pass that way again so I can beg to stop there for dinner. Pros: Superb service,lovely setting. Cons: Far far away. more

Superb! 6/11/2006

The Silo staff, especially Sherri, made our wedding , one made in heaven. We had the ceremony and reception on their grounds and they were very attentive and accomodating every step of the way. We and our guests raved about the atmosphere ,service, and wonderful food and drink. The country atmosphere and beautifully setting add to the magical feeling. Would recommend this restaurant for brunch, a snack , dinner or banquet activity. You won't be disappointed. PROS: staff , service, great food, great atmosphere, concern for you CONS: more

Restaurant 6/15/2005

Silo has one of the best seafood buffets that I have ever attended. I love the linen tablecloth & napkins, the place settings. The waitresses are very friendly. The one problem with this restaurant is that it is not handicap friendly. more
