went there with the wife couple of weeks back. order the 'thick crust , chicago style' pizza that looked nice but was the furthest thing from it. the table next door complained their's was under done and the manager just apologized and walked away. We wasted $40 for two people of average appetizer ( almost $10) and our $ 22 pizza ( xtra for thick crust and topping ofcourse ). waiter wasn't busy but not attentive at all. would never recommend or return. more

I have read a few of the reviews posted here and had to try the place . I've seen good and bad reviews. I had no problem with service and price. The pizza tastes amazing out of the wood oven and I really feel the quality is there. I'll go back soon and see if I was lucky or just that somebody doesn't like this place more

I have been going to Sicilian Oven since right after they opened. I just happened to find them while I was in the shopping center. I really feel very comfortable there as the staff always makes you feel at home. I have always received good service and the attitude of the servers is excellent. Many times our drinks have been refilled by others servers who just walk by and see an empty glass. I find their menu fits what I am looking for whether it is lunch or dinner. The meatballs are great and the steak sandwich is one of the best I have had. The bread which I was told they make is wonderful. The salads are huge and a real value when you see everything they put in them. The thin pizza is great and I can get them well done without being burnt. They also offer Sicilian. They have a lasagna which has no pasta which my wife raves about as well as wonderful chicken and pasta dishes. Try the wings they do them right. \r \r When she is there I try to get Madison for my server. She has turned me on to some good choices in food and has suggested wines they go well with what we are eating.\r \r This place is worth the drive. They are also in Coral Springs and Lighthouse Point which I have been to and I find the same food and the same relaxed atmosphere when there. \r \r I think these guys have hit a home run. more

..........Pasta and specials are awesome, service so and so but doesn't matter when you had such a GOOD FOOD.....\r \r Artichokes: the best I ever had. Really good pizza and I agree with the other reviews about the service... sloppy and inattentive.\r \r I am very picky about Italian food especially pasta, but I was surprised... VERY, VERY, VERY good job chef! more

I went there the other night a friend recommended it to me and my wife...the place had a strange atmosphere it felt really uncomfortable from the start.... We asked the server I believe her name was Madison what she recommended and she starting naming off all these items but when my wife asked her more about one of these items she got an attitude like she did not have the time to explain... So we ended up just ordering a plain cheese pizza witch tasted like cardboard:( We finish out meals and never received a beverage refill witch as far as we are concerned is pretty pathetic i guess the server figured she was not getting a tip so she neglected us:( THen when she finally did make it back to our table she just handed us our check and never asked if we wanted anything else...All I can say is We are never coming back and niter will our friends..This place is a joke more

We stumbled on this restaurant and what a treat. This was the best complete dining experience we have had in a very long time. The customer service is genuine and superb. The food and food options were exquisite. The sicilian salad was delicious, the lasagne was great, and their pizzas are the best. The restaurant is clean and nicely appointed. Don't miss out. Dave was a great waiter. more

When you have spent most of your life eating Italian food in Little Italy or Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, it is not easy to be satisfied with South Florida Italian. Thank you Jim Agostino and Sicilian Oven (wood burning) for changing my experience. Everything here that I have tried is Brooklyn Wiseguy worthy. Real Italian food. Paper thin, tender eggplant, crusty Sicilian pizza, a great house salad with candied walnuts, lettuces, tomatoes, olives, chick peas, onions, etc. you must try one of the world's best Tiramasus. Extremely creamy and still light, fluffy and not too sweet. Pastas can be Semolina or Whole Wheat.\r Delicious garlic rolls and wonderful service that would even delight your grandma.\r \r I will be back often.\r \r Thank you more

The best food and service. Whoever says this restaurant does not serve the best wings and pizza cooked to perfection must be the competition who can't handle how great Sicilian Oven really is. Oh and let's not forget the sicilian salad with the sweet and salty taste which is out of this world! My new favorite restaurant!!\r \r Lorelei Westberry\r Carnival Cruise Lines more

The food was wonderful, we had the sicilian salad, wings, pizza, dessert.... I loved it there. Service was great, manager was amazing.... I can't wait to go back. I have sent so many people to that restaurant who are no longer going to the chain pizza restaurants for coal fire pizza, Sicilian oven's pizza is much better and not burnt.\r \r Thank you to the staff and the cooks. My hat is off to you!!! more

If you love homemade Italian food that is awesome this is the place to go. The food is fresh and the staff is friendly. I especially love the rice balls and wings but my kids love the pizza. Wood burning is definitely the way to go. This place is a definite must and two thumbs up!!! more

The newest waste of space in Aventorture. Go sit at the bar to avoid the crowds standing outside to try this new establishment and the first thing you notice is a sign that says you can not order beer or wine at the bar per city ordinance. Yet I was served a cold Corona for 5.00 after waiting 10minutes for somebody to drop by. There is no beer on draft and the bar has an empty feeling. \r Order the "Mona Lisa" and you get dried out oversalted cheap prosciutto slices with a smathering of tomato and thin layer of cheese and an even thinner layer of pizza crust that taste like a cheap pop tart. The pizza which is actually a med size that they call a lg is a whopping 20.00...what a joke! It was terrible! ...so I ordered a 2nd pizza...a Sicilian "Captain" with a tiny portion of paper thin meatballs, paper thin pepperoni, and paper thin meatball, and a huge portion of slightly stale think crust that taste like you chewing on air...the cook must use a special device to thin out the portions and spread them out to look like your actually getting a decent portion...who do they think their kidding?...another lousy joke of a pizza and what a ripoff at $22.00!....My 1st and last time here and anybody reading this should stay far away from this place...its very overpriced and the food is substandard and the service is lousy. more
