Barbecue and More 4/1/2006

Shyler’s has good barbecue, plus a variety of other items. My favorite is the chicken barbecue potato. Sometimes they are fairly busy, but I think you might be able to do call ahead seating (but not sure). The walls are decorated in 50’s and 60’s memorabilia (plus other items) which makes the wait more interesting. The prices are quite affordable and the service is good. Carry out is also available. more

Great BBQ, Fun Atmosphere 3/27/2006

Shyler's has the best BBQ selection in Evansville. Starting with staples of pulled pork, chicken/pork and sauce, and ribs, all the way down to their bbq salads, bbq potatoes, and non bbq items like the coconut chicken and fried chicken salad. My favorites are the pork and sauce and the fried chicken salad. The sweet tea is also pretty good, although it can occassionally be a little too sweet. Shylers has novelty items, like vintage advertisements, signs, posters, and pictures hung up all over the restaurant. They play 50's music. Very cute and fun! more

Yummy! 9/15/2005

Shyler's Bar-B-Q is second to none in Evansville. The potato with the works is a favorite of mine - bbq pork, cheese, bacon bits, sour cream, butter. The potato itself is huge and a meal in itself. Drinks come in huge cups so you never go thirsty. I don't usually like baked beans, but Shyler's actually taste pretty good. more

Good BBQ 7/1/2005

If you are looking for good barbeque this might be your place. This place offers all you can eat specials and some awesome sides. Plus their logo is a cute little piggy. You can't go wrong with this good homecookin. I especially liked their pulled chicken and pork. Plus, check out their fundraiser program for your organization's fundraising needs. more
