Always a Good Time! 6/14/2011

Shorty's is a fun place with a neat atmosphere. We always feel so comfortable there. It is a little pricey but their owner's club cuts all the prices in half so if you go there twice a month or more it is worth it. The owner's club even works for take-out. Anyway, you have to try their sweet tea and macho nachos with pulled pork and BBQ sauce, they're delicious. Their monte cristo is also delicious! This place also has some incredible desserts. Try the fried twinkies or the chocalate chip brownie sundae. This place is also a great place to bring the kids! more

Expensive for what you get 11/9/2006

This is actually a review of their new concept restaurant on S. Walker - Shorty Smalls Express. The food is good, but they have very few children's menu items - the children's pizza is obviously a frozen afterthought. You can't get a burger less than a half-pound, which I find very disappointing. The staff at the register is typically rather disinterested. more

Friendly atmosphere 6/26/2006

Friendly atmosphere and great service combined with a good variety of tasty meals make Shorty Small's a worthwhile place to stop and eat at. Management is very professional and in my experiences have bent over backwards to make sure every customer leaves satisfied with their dining experience. Pros: Location, Service, Friendly Atmosphere Cons: Parking can be a bit tight except during off hours. more
