Shoot Straight

I came in to buy a Glock26 or 27. I was greeted by Jonathan ( I think that was his name ). He was able to answer all of my questions and pointed out various options and accessories that would work for these guns. He took me over to the holsters because I wanted to carry concealed. I was shown various models and choosed the Galco Skyops as the perfect mate for my new Glock27 Gen 4. I went right over to the range and fired off 50 rounds and she worked flawlessly. Kudo?s to everyone there that assisted in my purchase and experience at the range. more

We recently visited the Shoot-Straight store in Tampa. I needed an appraisal on a WW 1 Luger pistol. I also had a collection of rifles that we no longer used. All of the weapons were in operating condition. We were greeted immediately by one of the salesmen and I explained that the purpose of the visit was to get some idea of the value of the Luger, for sale to a WW 1 re-enactor. I believe the salesman's name was Brian. He said he would discuss the value of the Luger with some others. He did give us some idea of its value. I also told him we had six (6) rifles in varying calibers that I wanted to sell. He then got other salesmen involved to provide their sale value. At this point we were introduced to Bruce Kitzis who is the store manager. In the end we worked out a deal that we were satisfied with and I believe Bruce was also. It was a pleasant experience dealing with the different personnel who work in the store. They were courteous and polite and full of information regarding any questions. It was a pleasure doing business with these people. It was my spouse's first visit to a gun store and we left with a very pleasant experience. We are looking forward to one of our next shooting visits. more

The employees I talk to are all really nice and will take plenty of time to show you guns and explain anything you want to know about. Once a friend was having trouble with a rifle and the gunsmith was really helpful and friendly, as well. I go there to shoot regularly, and especially love that they have ladies' night on Mondays so I don't even have to pay range fees. There sure aren't many places where you can find 100-yard indoor rifle ranges. I just wish there were more than three lanes. more

They had one dedicated person filling out purchase paperwork so it was done very quickly and efficiently. Everyone I worked with at the 4 or 5 differnt counters/stations were very friendly and helpful. One of the better buying experiences I've had from a gun store. more

I shoot at the Shoot Straight store in Tampa with my husband & girlfriend at least once a month. We have never seen anyone mistreated, in fact it is the only gun range I feel comfortable going to. Sometimes I bring my 2 small children while hubbie shoots, they love to walk around and look at the animals. We don't have a lot of guns, more because of budget than desire, but when we do plan to buy it will most likely be there. more

Went there for the first time today. Great store and range! The employees were great - very friendly and helpful. Nothing bad to say at all! Good selection of guns with prices that overall seem competitive. more

You all special ordered an Ed Brown for me that I couldn’t get from anyone. It took a while, but you got it when no one else could. It shoots like a dream and when I’m ready for my next one, I won’t go anywhere but to Shoot Straight. more

My son wanted to learn how to shoot, but I wasn’t sure where to take him. I saw on your website that you let children shoot with parental supervision so we came in last Saturday. We both had a great time and I ended up buying a family membership to the range. And when I found out that I could shoot at any of your ranges across the state, I take my gun with me whenever I travel south. Any chance you want to open in Ft Lauderdale or Miami? more

I inherited a gun and knew nothing about it and didn’t know where to go for help. I heard about Shoot Straight, but wasn’t sure if I should bother them because I wasn’t looking to buy a gun. But I screwed up the courage to try and much to my surprise, I met the nicest man. Bruce took the time to go over the gun with me and explained everything about the operation. He even got their gunsmith to check it out to make sure it was safe to fire. Before I left, he sold me some ammunition and took me out on the range to make sure I knew how to shoot it. I signed up for one of their shooting classes and now I am a regular at the range. more

No other store has half the selection that you guys have. And they can’t compete with your prices. more
