Major mistake 9/14/2012

I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not waste your time here. I took my dog there in 2009 to have her spayed. A few months later she was spotting blood and every male dog in the neighborhood was after her. Turns out they botched the spaying and did not get all of the ovaries completely out. Therefore my dog can't get pregnant, but she has full mammary development and is 100% at risk for all of the things that come with not spaying a dog (shorter life, cancer, tumors, etc). Take a few extra minutes and drive south to Creatures Great and Small. more

Great care at an affordable price 2/15/2009

Staff is kind, courteous and helpful. Doctors are good and helpful. My only complaint is that there is little contact with the MDs except in person. If you leave a phone message it will be returned by front office staff and there will be a delay before you have an opportunity to talk directly to the docs. However, they fit us in at a moment's notice and take care to provide quality services. more

It's been a few years, but my cat was spayed at Shippensburg Animal Hospital through the PAWS program. They were very nice and gentle with Zoey, and never once made me feel any different than if I were paying them in full. I walked out of that office knowing what to expect of my cat after her surgery and that was just when I dropped her off. If you're looking for someone to take good care of your family pet, this is the place to go. more
