All you can eat raw oysters, fresh snow crab legs, shrimp cocktail, a plethora of fresh sushi. Not only is this place worth the money; the dollar's value is excellent here. The food here tastes great. You get the best bang for your buck. Try the make- your- own hibachi grill. Service is friendly and it's the cleanest, Asian buffet I have ever frequented. I'm not easy to please when it comes to restaurants but this place is legend. more

I'm not picky when it comes to food but this place is horrible. I went there last night with my girlfriend expecting an amazing time but I was wrong. The sushi was okay. A bit stale to my taste. Between the sushi bar and the back smelled like fecal matter. The actual food was disgusting. Lo mien best thing they had. Everything else tasted like it had a freezer burn aftertaste and on top of all that 41 bucks for 2 people. If the food was good I wouldnt mind spending 100. But 41 for stale food and sushi not my thing at all. more

I have been going to this buffet ever since i could remeber. They have always been very nice and always let my dad be picky about where we sit. It has changed over the years for the better. The sushi and sashimi is very good. And you can customize your stir fry. The waiters taught me how to use chopsticks when i was a little kid so I'm very greatful for their exsitance. more

This is my family's favorite place for a quick dinner that suits everybody. The sushi is good with good variety and they keep the the buffet stocked. There are snow crabs that attract the all you can eat guys but are not always that good. Otherwise there is a griddle and a smallish assortment of Chinese dishes. They do lots of repeat business by offering favorites rather than interesting cuisine. more

My favorite in Miami! The sushi is wonderful with so many different types to choose from. Also a hibatchi grill where they cook up your selection, very tasty. A buffet with a nice selection including soup salad and dessert. I actually drive about 1 hour to eat there and that saying something driving through Miami traffic just to eat. Great place to go if you have someone who is not a Sushi eater. Really good service and food. more

Boring food that tasted 'left out', and the scary fishy smell of the buffet sushi that scared me away. There's another Japanese buffet in Miami that dominates this one, so just avoid this place. more

As far as traditional Asian buffet food goes, Shinju just barely holds it's own. Greasy fried lamp-warmed food that's good enough for the price, but not enough to keep people coming back for seconds. However, the sushi is another story. For $10 per person at lunchtime, and $20 per person for dinner, it's the best sushi in Miami. I have never bitten into a roll that tasted overly fishy, or like it had been standing for too long. The JB and spicy snow crab rolls in particular are incredible, and while you're at it, grab yourself some stir fry at the grill (don't forget to tip the guy, he'll remember you next time). \r \r Definitely a must for a sushi fiend. more

This is the BEST Japanese buffet in Miami. For $18 a person, they have a tremendous selection of fresh rolls, sushi, and sashimi. They also have a hibachi grill where you can have items cooked to order, or you can try the regular selection of asian items at the other buffet lines (pork fried rice, soba noodles, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp tempura, 3-4 different kinds of soups, etc.)\r \r We have tried a few other buffets throughout Miami-Dade, and this one always has us coming back, despite the long drive! more

Buffet bliss meets courteous and attentive customer service 4/1/2008

I initially just decided to go here on the spur of the moment after not having eaten all day. I had been seeing this venue for awhile on Sunset and always wanted to go. Well upon arrival, they greet you, seat you and after your waitress take your drink orders, you are free to roam and choose what you want to eat. The atmosphere is great; everyone looked happy and was pretty much immersed in their conversations. The food was more that plentiful and diverse enough. I enjoyed the lo mein noodles, the sesame chicken, orange chicken, crab legs, potstickers, spring roll, sushi (too many types to remember) and for desert the Red Bean ice cream was definitely tasty and unique. My family liked the salmon off the grill and the sweet and sour soup along with the ribs and again the Red Bean ice cream and all the other deserts and fruits we tried. The only thing I wish is that I could have eaten more and tasted the soup as well as something off the Hibachi grill. The only thing I can say that you should avoid is the crazy tuna roll (it has red and green on it); I was not crazy about it. However, their sushi and sashimi station has the names of everything posted which is great. Also, the green tea is not premium and it was a bit distasteful for me (I'll get something else to sip on next time.) P.S. Our waitress, Sarah ,was the best she always checked on everyone in her section. Although, everyone in the establishment was very nice and I went on a Saturday for dinner just after 5pm.
