Today is my first day back at work since my Friday appointment with Sam for cut, color and highlights. I received lots of compliments on my hair today from my coworkers, customers, and the baristas at Starbucks that see me daily. Even my husband noticed that my hair was exceptionally stylish and "shiny". Thanks Sam -- was hoping I'd see you at Starbucks so you could admire your work! more

Sam was overbooked. I had a 2:00 appt. I was supposed to get a hairccut as well as my 1 process, but she didn't have time because she had another appt. It was 4 when I left. Hair dye was still on my face. 2 hrs for a 1 process? I've been a customer for a long time, but did not like my experience. No apologies were offered as I checked out she (person at the front desk)thru a discount at me. I'm looking for a new salon even though I love Sam. Mary cyr more

Kyle is the best!!! I had to re-schedule my appointment with her quick due to an emergency-and she fit me into her schedule at the last minute and made time for not just the hair color but also a scalp massage/treatment which took away all my stress!!! And the scheduling people were also so nice in finding a way to fit me in quick-and during the busy holidays and all! Everyone was so nice about it!!! more

I had been going to Shine for years and always had a great experience with Stephanie and Amanda that I would bring my daughter and mother. I was sorry to see two great stylist/colorist move on. I became allergic to the dye after so many years and everyone seemed so surprised. I literally had open areas on my scalp, ears, and neck that lasted weeks. My daughter, who is 16, went on the internet and immediately found the issues are probably related to PPD. What surprised us more was how many times Aveda products were metioned as a possible cause of allergies. Many of the websites were reputable. The last color I recieved was more red because the stylist did not follow the formula. Red is not a color that flatters my skin tone. I fell after so many years with Shine they let me down. I called a few times to report my problem and even ask for a refund of an overcharge since I did not see how I would be returning. I was even told they were going to change the product and have someone call me. Even though I made these calls and always recicved a polite response no none ever returned my calls.I am truely disappointed with the way my situation was handled. more

Got the usual wonderful service at Shine with a fantastic cut and color by Lulu and a chance to get a manicure while my color "set". more

I know that when I have my hair cut and colored by Kyle at Shine, I will be pleased with how it looks. The Salon is staffed with a personable and professional staff. I highly recommend them. more

I love this salon, especially my stylist Sam. She gives the best head massages while she shampoos. She is a fabulous colorist and has done wonders with my curly hair. more
