We have been to Shige Sushi three times since they opened. The first two times, service was very slow (about 30 minutes to be served after ordering). Tonight we sat for a solid hour and a half and finally left, having been served only soup (after 30 minutes) and our sushi side order (after about 45 minutes). From reading reviews on other sites, it appears that the older woman waitress calls the shots and if you somehow don't fit her standards, you essentially don't get served. We were nicely dressed, well behaved and prepared to wait a little since it was busy - but an hour and a half wait for nothing, with no more than a muttered apology or two means we won't be back. Read the reviews and pay attention to the number of those who got ""ignored"" like we did. Don't bother. There are better places without this apparent attitude problem. They're also on the expensive side for sushi and Japanese - figures.
Pros: Most food decent, sushi chef reportedly very good
Cons: Service slow to nonexistent
