Go look at 2/8/2008. Do you find it funny that all those reviews came in during the DEAD OF WINTER ON THE SAME DAY????? One was MStover (owners wife's maiden name), and MAJASKULSKI (owners last name). The rest are friends and don't even have pools. How pathetic to LIE and try to get customers?? WOW. They have no clue how to use their own products and are absolutely positively not reliable. They love people having problems so they can sell you more chems and give you the run around. Look for alternatives or buy your chems online. Awful. more

Suppose to have been in business for many years but just took over the business several years ago. First they want all the money up front. Luckily we did not do this because the money we did put down was squandered and they never completed the job partly because they did not have the knowledge needed to do the job. They may be okay at putting chemicals in an existing pool but don't ever let them do any renovations to a pool. You'll be left without any pool and out thousands of dollars. more

Just wanted to say something about some very friendly & helpful people who've been servicing our pool for years. There are not enough good accolades to properly express just how helpful, courteous, knowledgeable & friendly Henry, Melanie & their staff are. Our pool is a pretty old in-ground 8ft model & over the years, different things have just worn out or broke. Instead of calling the company who installed the pool, my wife was smart enough to contact Sherwood Valley Pools. What a smart call that was! For years now, Henry & his staff were able to fix everything that ever went wrong & they did it promptly & at a price that was far below what we had been paying the previous company. Since then, we've come to trust them to ""open"" & ""close"" our pool every year. They do everything with the same care they would as if they were servicing their own pool or family members. Each & every time we've spoke w/ Melanie or Henry, we come away liking them more! This is a couple who really, really know how to make a customer feel happy & satisfied. Whether it's picking up chemicals, having the water tested or calling for an emergency repair, it's a real pleasure to interact with people who we've come to like & value & respect an aweful lot! I'll sum this up by saying they not only take great care of our pool, they also take great care with their customers. I wish more people were like Mel & Henry. more

Henry and Mel are wonderful to deal with and take care of any issues we have with our water or pool . . Any time our pool needs serviced they have always responded promptly and professionally. In the past 4 yrs (our pool is 23 yrs old) they have installed a new pool liner, heater, new slide and salt generator. We've also purchase an automatic pool cleaner. Never had a problem. Pricing has been very reasonable, we will continue to use them for all our pool needs. more

We had extensive work with Sherwood Valley this summer. We have used their business for years and have always been happy with the service. However, make note that two years ago Sherwood was secretly sold to a new owner. The positive reviews are under the old owners. The new owner sold us a pool heater, liner, pool vacuum. He did not disclose hidden costs of venting the heater, water trucks for the pool, and the vacuum broke in the first week and he would not allow us to return it. Our intial cost was $6000 and ballooned to $10000. We will NEVER use them again. more

This company sold me a pump and hooked up a filter and piping which exploded twice in the same day. They came back and fixed it both times. Now we have a leak and they want to charge me $120 to fix! I declined and the owner is now asking for a $90 service call, news to me, which he was here for 5 seconds and didn't touch a thing. The pipe never leaked before his hands were on it, so I thought he would fix it. He has NO people skills, nor business skills. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone that owns a pool. more

Their expert advice on how to care for my pool, as well as an opening service to begin the season, made owning a pool that much easier. First year owners, Henry & Melanie, were so personable I knew I had made the right choice. Every question I had was answered and they even anticipated my needs as the season went on. I wouldn't trust anyone else with our pool. See you next year! more

Their staff is great! They are very knowledgeable and have guided me in the right direction when it comes to chemicals. They also suggested ways to maintain my filter and equipment to cut down on repairs. They are clean and neat and do a great job. They have a great turn around time when you call with problems. They are very prompt and honest. They don't try to rip you off. I definitely recommend Sherwood Valley Pools! Pros: They carry the chemicals to your car....where can you find that today. more
