Whether you just want to spend some time with your family, or some friends, bowling is the way to go, especially in this place. You'll find people of all ages here. They have a little bar, so if you just want to take a breather from your kids, you can always sneak away for a drink. On weekends at night they have cosmic bowling, during which time they have black lights and a DJ playing music, and they give away prizes. more

Shell Lanes 8/18/2005

Shell lanes is a nice bowling and its located right near the F train and there is even plenty of buses which go there so you don't have to have a car in order to go here. They offer league bowling and they have a good snack bar that has everything from hamburgers to shrimp cocktail. Its a safe and clean bowling alley which has plenty of houseballs if you don't own a ball of your own. They dont have much parking so you may have to walk a little bit. This is a good place to bring families too. more

A Good Place To Bowl 8/17/2005

Shell lanes has bowling lanes with bumpers and no bumpers. It's a lot of fun. You get your bowling shoes and your ready to go. The machines are electronic and they have numerous bowling balls. They also have a mini arcade with a dozen games like Street Fighter. You'll have a great time. more

So cheap! 8/15/2005

It's way cheaper than a lot of the bowling alleys in the city. It's about 7 dollars per game, which would be 13 or more in other places. There's a bar in the back. Upstairs is the little restaurant where you can buy hotdogs, french fries, and things of that variety. Also upstairs are a bunch of video games. It's great if you bowl very often. more
