Shear Elegance

Walked in today they were super busy but I was desperate for a cut so they gave me a appointment for the afternoon I got in the chair right on time and got exactly what I wanted I will definatly keep going there more

I drop into Shear Elegance all the time without an appointment and the lovley ladys there always take me in. Even when they look extreamly buisy they manage to squeeze me in. They all do a great job so I take whoever is open at the time. If you want friendly faces and a great cut I recomend them. \r Thanks! more

I went in to get my first styled hair cut after growing out my hair and when the stylist Janine was done with me it was the cutest hair cut I have ever gotten. She then showed me a new color line they had gotten and put some awesome violet red low lights in my hair, it turned out great and I'm for sure going back. more

I went in for a simple lightening. The stylist bleached my hair, and it turned orange. Literally-- like when skaters used to pour laundry bleach over their heads to look punkish. This was despite my initial insistence that it look "natural." It was bad enough to cause me professional shame.\r \r When I insisted it get fixed, the owner-- who was my stylist's mom-- came out and refused to acknowledge there was any problem at all. When I pointed out the obvious-- that my hair was bleachy orange-- said owner got really nasty with me.\r \r I'm from a big city, and she accused me of trying to screw her over, repeating that "you know it would be more expensive there." (Incidentally-- that's not true. I paid $85 total for the coloring and an additional $20 for a haircut there-- which was decent-- earlier that week.)\r \r I believe you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, but I had to hold a tough line to get them to fix it promptly and without charging me more. I love this place. Everyone is very friendly and all are great hairdressers. I have not gotten a bad haircut from anyone there and I have had several different people cutting my hair. This is the only place I will go to now for a haircut. more
