School doesn't have a lot of students, but there are not enough instructors to teach.. I saw students teaching students. The Judo school up the street is more organized and teaches better practical applications and has better drills for students. The place is open a lot, but the quality is not as high as other martial arts schools in the city. Pros: open a lot Cons: no mats, dirty bathroom, not enough students or teachers more

Not Good Training 1/15/2007

This school is rather new, teacher has a lot of experience taking classes, but not teaching...its obvious too. Kids fight adults...kids are in adult's class. The fighting isn't well monitored, a lot of people get injured. Its not really that safe. Its not very professional either. The class is "very" informal to the point where the instructor wastes valuable training time discussing his personal life. Compared to the Karate school down the street its not as good. You do not get what you pay for, you may even be taught by some kids (like I was). I left after a couple of months because it was so undisciplined. more

Not Recommended 1/10/2007

Not enough training done. Teacher talks a lot during the class. Children are in adult class. If one person is unable to do a move or is sick the training for everyone is "modified." Not enough work done on forms, fighting is stressed more, but uncontrolled. Teacher does not pay attention to students. Pros: cheap testing Cons: lots of uniform costs, dangerous, teacher doesn't pay attention more
