Great Cut & Color Artist! 9/24/2006

I had long hair past my shoulders in a weave for several years, but I wanted to change my look to Lisa Rinna's hairstyle. Shanaz was able to duplicate Lisa Rinna's hair cut exactly, including the style, the color base and the highlights and lowlights. I've had many compliments and have been told by a close friend that it's a really, really great cut, and now you can see my face. I've noticed people noticing me since I've had my hair done, and people are smiling at me more. I am a receptionist at a law firm and the five attorneys that work there have each individually come over to chime in and compliment me on my new look. One attorney said that I'm a very attractive girl, but it hadn't been as noticeable before. I am very particular about my hair, but could tell right away that Shanaz knew what she was doing. This is the best hair cut and color I have ever had. It's the best decision I've ever made regarding a stylist. I know I have an upscale hair cut; now, I have to work on my wardrobe. Shanaz has incredible talent! She is in a class by herself and can do what others in the business can't. Before Shanaz every time I tried to communicate what I wanted I was shot down and told it couldn't be done. I finally found someone that knows how to color my hair the right shade of brown and put in highlights without ruining my hair. In addition, when I wash my hair it doesn't fade or turn red. She is a true artist and has years and years of experience. I completely trust her. more

Value for money; Unmatched service and attention 9/10/2006

I love Shanaz! She did my highlights and I have gotten lots of compliments for them. She will tell you what color/style complements your facial features. Other places this city do not give you the care and attention you deserve. She's definitely got a lot of experience on her belt, and that makes her all the more trust-worthy with your hair. I will definitely be returning soon. more

best hair you can get 7/29/2006

I first came to Shanaz after i had dyed my hair too many shades too dark. My mom had heard from my aunt that it might make my hair lighter if I put house bleach in my hair. When i didnt like the results, i went to Shanaz and asked for her help. She was able to make my hair lighter without it looking brittle or unhealthy. Thanks Shanaz! Shanaz has been cutting, styling, and highlighting my hair for over 9 years! So of course, when I got married in Oakland, CA, on 8/1/09, I knew I HAD to have Shanaz do my hair for the wedding. I flew Shanaz up to the San Francisco Bay Area for the weekend, and she styled my hair, my bridesmaids' hair, AND my mom, step-mom, and grandma's hair - AND did our make-up -- talk about productivity! Shanaz has perfect technique for hair and make-up for any special event. I have been going to Shanaz for many years. She has been doing my color, highlights, and haircuts. I drive all the way from Pomona to Studio City because she is caring and very professional on what she does. I always get a lot of compliments on my hair. She is always on time. She uses top of the line products and color. I highly recommend her to anybody who needs color or highlights or a very nice haircut. Shanaz is a wonderful, talented hair dresser. She really knows what she is doing and really has a sense of cutting and styling. I always get compliments on my cut and color..thanks to her! In the 8 years that I have been going to her I have never been disappotinted or unsure. I always walk out of her salon with the greatest of confidence, and saying to my self.....that was the best money worth spending!!! I have been going to Shanaz for several years, and I always get compliments on my hair color and highlights from everyone! Before I came to her, my hair was dry and damaged and it looked awful...she did a color correction, haircut, deep conditioning, and with her special touch, I came out looking (and feeling) like a supermodel! She has also done my daughter and her friend's hair for the prom and homecoming, and their updos were the most beautiful and unique of all their friends. I don't know how she does such gorgeous designs, using flowers, pearls, rinestones, braids...she can just do everything! It really is amazing...she is so professional, plus she uses great products on my hair so that it stays healthy. I am just so glad she is my stylist! Shanaz is a wonderful stylist to work with. She's very professional and does beautiful hair. She made me look great for my wedding, and the bridesmaids and my mom looked great also. I loved the free consultations so that I could get the perfect hair style that I loved. She also did all the makeup and it came out great in all the wedding photos!
