This was such a great experience. 4/22/2011

This was my first experience at a tea room. I brought a friend who didn't like tea and we both were extremely pleased with our experience. I had high tea and my friend ordered the Kobe style burger. Both were excellent. We were able to sit quietly and not be disturbed. My order was a little late but they were very helpful and once I got it the food was wonderful. If I'm ever in the area again I plan on going back. more

Delicious! 9/14/2010

I've eaten at the Tea Room multiple times and have been pleased every time. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and welcoming from the minute you walk in the door. Their newly extended dinner hours are convenient and their dinner dishes (as well as lunches) are very tasty! more

Pretty....but disappointing 8/2/2010

We were excited to visit this tea room while in Alabama and we were all disappointed. Even though we were the only ones in the restaurant service was slow. It was uncomfortably silent. We had high tea and the portions for salad and quiche were small and seemed to have been sitting out a while. When the tea tray was brought to our table we were shocked. We couldn't believe we were paying 60.00 plus tax and tip for what we were being served. It was laughable and the food wasn't good. We've been to many tea rooms, but this one although charming was a huge let down. Pros: Very pretty Cons: Lousy food more
