Dr, Barb and Staff are the best. They are attentive to the needs of each and every ""parent"" as well as their patients. Caring and compassion are their utmost goal. When a few years back we needed to put our beloved dog to sleep, they could not have been more compassionate and thoughtful to everyone's needs. I would reccommend them to anyone and have done so in the past. Thank goodness for a caring facility such as this!!!!!!!!!!!! this place is wonderful! everyone was so friendly and was very helpful with everything i needed. the minute i walked into the lobby everyone was great! i will be bringing all of my pets here from now one. the prices are great as well, which is much better then bringing my kitties to banfield, which would have been 5X's how much i paid at the Shady Oak Vet Clinic! more

My parents brought our pets to Shady Oak Vet Clinic even before Dr. Barb took over the practice, and I would never consider bringing my pets anywhere else. The staff treats both me and my pets like family. My pets have received the best treatment possible no matter if it was a check up or surgery. There is no place that I would recommend more strongly! as a long time pet owner (50+ years) I have had many veterinarian caregivers to compare. no one has come close to the knowledge and compassion that Dr. Barb and her staff dispense on a daily basis. I don't know how she does it, but there is no favoritism that I can detect among clients or pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, you name it) I get the feeling she cares about them all. not afraid to call at home in the evening to discuss symptoms, treatments, finances, whatever, seems to be available when needed. stays tuned to the most recent research and development in pet care, too. I highly recommend Dr. Barb and her staff to any one who has pets who had less than happy experiences with other clinics and/or vets or even great experiences with other vets. Dr. Barb and her staff are better. Her gentle hand and demeanor relax me and my pets every time. nothing short of a great place to have for my ""kids""-thank goodness for Dr. Barb and her staff. Dr Barb and her staff are, hands-down, the BEST at what they do. In all my years of pet-ownership and trying different vets, Dr Barb is the greatest EVER. She not only provides the best care for your pet, she takes the time to explain, in detail, every aspect of your pet's health/condition/treatment/etc. She once called me at home at 9pm on a weeknight to discuss an issue my dog was having...and we talked for almost an hour. She is dedicated and seems to love what she does, and your pet benefits. I recommend her to all my friends--she's the GREATEST! Pros: Excellent service, knowledgeable and caring staff more
