Over priced and over rated 3/29/2011

Food was luke warm, fatty prime rib, cold carrots and green beans. Very small portions. Coffee was hazlenut (?) flavored and only luke warm as well. Calamari was greasy and no flavor. Bread was medeocre. Will not go back and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Longhorn's, Outback and Ruby Tuesday's have better food and much less expensive. more

Very satisfying and reasonable prices 10/16/2009

Good: I loved the Filet Mignon Bernaise,a classic and a favorite of mine.The beef is prime,melt in your mouth at medium rare!one reviewer found it to be pricey,maybe this person is not familiar with aged grain fed western steer the Seven Gables serves.. Bad: The fact that I don't live close enough to frequent this soul satisfying restaurant more often.. Improvements: Advertise to let foodies learn about this gem.. more

Very professional and friendly. 6/19/2007

We have been dining at the Seven Gables for over 18 years. Now we drive from Lawrenceville to dine there every Saturday. There are usually 4 to 6 of us in the group. Why? we love the foods of course. The Chateaubriand,the rack of lamb, the chicken wellington, the key lime chicken ,the french fries, the oysters rockefeller, the clam soup, the moroccan chicken ,the ceasar salade. the poaced pear,the creme brulee and what a classic this is. Of course we go to other restaurants but Seven gables remains our favorit. They always insure promptness. more

Classy 8/14/2005

If you love steak, chicken or seafood, this is the restaurant for you. The food is scrumptious! I was also impressed with the service at Seven Gables. The ambiance is very warm and the restaurant itself is very classy. The service at the restaurant is average and it should be improved. It took an extremely long time for our food to come out. I would probably go back to this restaurant. more
