My wife and I went on the recommendation of many here. The food was excellent, some of the best here in Dallas. However, the service had a lot to be desired. It's a family run b...

Like a visit to the 4/13/2007

I have taken all my favorite family and friends to visit this wonderful restaurant as if it were my own private dining room complete with my own Mediteranean family. Pros: Ambience, staff, food, best bakalava EVER. Cons: trying to make a menu decision, everything is scruptious more

Best Breakfast at sevan 12/27/2006

I pass by Sevan everyday on my way to work. One day I decided to give it a try. I went in with my friend around lunch time the were serving breakfast and mediterranean so we ordered some of each. We ordered the Greek omelet and gyros sandwish, they were both delicious! But I was especially fascinated by the Greek omelet it was the best I have ever had. Fresh ingredients, served with the best pan fries, huge, and tasty! The sandwish was only 5 dollars and it was also huge and marvelous. The food at Sevan is homemade, not greasy and very reasonable prices. I hope you give it a try! Pros: food, service, and price more

Excellent - Gotta try the Pist. Chicken dish 11/18/2006

Pros: Quality of food, Service Cons: Wish it was closer to our house !! more

Best Mediterranean Food 11/3/2006

I just ate here today after reading rave reviews about the restaurant, and I have to agree with all of the above reviews. The restaurant does not look very impressive from the outside, but inside, the atmosphere is very cozy and ambient. The food was wonderful. I had a very good appetizer sampler platter (Mazza platter). The Kabobs were delish!! Everything in the meal was great. My sister tried the pistachio chicken, which was great also. The portions are large and prices very reasonable. Great place for casual romantic dinner!!! The owners are very personable and hospitable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants excellent food for a great price in a nice atmosphere. It's BYOB also, with no corking fee. Pros: Excellent food (everything we ordered was good), great value, cute restaurant Cons: Not a chic trendy restaurant if that's what you're looking for. more

This is the BEST Lebanese food on the Planet. 10/8/2006

I have eaten Lebanese food in Lebanon, Greece, San Francisco, Florida, Atlanta, Washington DC to name a few. Sevan has the best that I have had the pleasure to eat. Add to that a friendly atmosphere, great service, ambiance and viola you have a wonderful wonderful restaurant run by a wonderful family. Yes the family really does do it all here, and your family is always treated as an honored guest. Pros: Food Atmosphere Price more

The food is just awsome 5/27/2006

The food at Sevan is great weather you are there for brunch, lunch or diner. The omelets are huge, and tasty. The waffles are homemade and delicious. Lunch specials and huge sandwiches (4.99) are available everyday except Monday because they close for brunch and lunch, but are open for diner. You should come for diner first bring your wine then sit down and enjoy. The mazza plate is an amazing appetizer sampler. Try the Sevan hummus it is hummus toped with lamb and pine nuts. After if you want to pick an entree you should go for the kabobs or the pistachio chicken, but if you want to go for something good and different try the Kashmir chicken or shrimp the are both wonderful. Give it a try it's the best in town! Pros: Food, and friendly service more

Wonderful Food!!! 3/26/2006

Best Mediterranean Food in Dallas! 7/3/2005

We can't say enough good things about Sevan! The food here is excellent. Pistachio chicken is the best! Lamb chops and kabobs and all the appetizers are also fabulous. BYOB cuts down on the expense. They also serve breakfast. The front doesn't have great ""curb appeal"", but inside it's a cozy family atmosphere. Pros: Good Food, Inexpensive, Family Oriented Cons: Greenville Ave more

Great Mediterranean Dining 5/7/2005

Friendly service, nice atmosphere. The food, though, is incredible. Great hummus & taboli. Gyros are excellent and so is the spanakopita. The pistachio chicken is wonderful and could feed 3!!! Worth a try. Pros: food, value, service more
