As a kid, I had cavities all the time. I never felt Dr. Serxner was condescending, cold or impatient; he was always quite the opposite with me and my four brothers. I had cavities up until I was in high school, and he never gave me the impression that I was beyond help -- It takes a very patient person to do that! He always followed up with what was going on in our lives, and I could tell he really cared about the well-being and health of his patients. He always treated me with respect and never spoke to me like I was a little kid, but rather a little adult. If Dr. Serxner is still practicing dentistry by the time I have kids, I'm definitely taking them to see him and his wonderful staff.
