When Serika first opened fifteen years ago, I used to think it was the best kept secret in the Bay Area sushi. For the past decade, however, Serika has secured itself as the finest sushi bar in the East Bay; the crowds encountered at peak hours on Friday and Saturday attest to it. Perhaps due to the volume of fish they unload, Serika's ""netta"" is consistently fresh and of the best cut.
Pros: Ample underground parking, great ambience
Cons: Service slow at times, but always courteous
