Good: BEST facial ever - so relaxing and my skin looks great!!! So friendly.. Bad: n/a. Improvements: n/a. Other: Down to earth not snooty like most spas.

Should Not Be Allowed To Call Itself A Spa 11/13/2009

This "spa" is not what you'd expect a spa to be. It is located in a two story building with many other offices. When you walk in you look around and wonder if you just walked into a doctors office....oh wait this is the right place. The massage was not good at all. Infact after my experience there I was driving home and had such a stiff neck that I had to pull over and try to work out the extreme pain and tightness I was having in the side of my neck! After talking to a few friends I had learned that this had happened to someone else as well that went to this same "spa". I would not recommend this place to anyone and wonder how they still are still open? more

Excellent place for massage 1/14/2009

Though not as relaxing environment as some of the higher end spas in Fairfield County, Serenity provides an exceptional massage. I go every other week. more

Deep Tissue/Sports Therapy Massage 3/26/2007

I recevied a deep-tissue massage and it was magnificent! I have had this type of massage many times over the years and at varying spas, but the person that provides this service is quite skilled and adept at what she does. She did a great job of locating those stress knots and worked me until I was putty. She was also very kind and didn't talk too much during the service. I did not like the look of the place. It is a semi-modern office building that needs a good carpet cleaning. The spa itself appeared to be very clean, but cold. It had a nursing home or hospital design to it. In fact some of the workers appeard to be wearing nursing smocks. I like a warm environment with warm tones. The cool tones are a huge turn-off. I will go back for a deep tissue massage, but I can't tolerate spending tons of time in a cool environment. Really great spas will serve you water after a deep-tissue massage. It was OK 6/19/2006

I found Serenity difficult to find and it does seem like a doctor's office so I was not impressed. They are a new spa and it shows. I don't think they have regular staff with regular schedules. They are trying but at $70 there is no room for error. The facial was nice but I would not rush back there are too many other spas out there from which to choose. more

A wonderful experience 6/12/2006

This was my first visit to a spa. I appreciated the extra time Rosa spent with me from first contact to my time at Serenity. She made me feel very comfortable and welcome. You could not ask for better service or a nicer, friendlier person! The Spa Sampler package was a great introduction to different offerings. The spa was located in a office building, so you may not have that total sense of "awayness" when you first arrive, but it was extremely neat and clean. Once I was in my room, calmness prevailed. I would recommend Serenity highly. more

Its more a doctors office than a spa 4/16/2006

The spa itself lacks the spa feel, it is in an office building and feels more like a doctor's office than a spa. Being a therapist myself (longer than the owner), I found it odd and a bit offensive that the owner would self proclaim herself as a MASTER THERAPIST....I am not aware of a title like that and from what I was told she has only been a therapist for a few years. more
